really, this is the reason why i think religion and authority shouldn't mix.

Lordy Lord ! I think this guy is jealous because the HP books explained the concepts of love, friendship and sacrifice, good vs. evil, better than the clergy might do. Well, just my opinion.

*Facepalm* Sometimes it's really difficult being Catholic! Luckily this is just Father Gabriele Amorth opinion and not the church's official position. There are some within the church who share father Gabriel's views, but thankfully not all do. The Vatican's newspaper itself has given Harry Potter great reviews and praised the positive messages imparted in the books and movies.

Don't worry guys, not all Christians think Harry Potter is evil. In fact, at my church, most of the people there including the pastors like Harry Potter. Some people just can't get fiction and reality straight.
