i think that JKR has introduced ginny early enough in the series as a semi-main character who has always played a big part and been around harry that it wouldnt be too weird, like it was with lavender and ron. personally, it would be a tragedy if they didnt get back together...voldemort shouldn't have the power to break apart two people ment for eachother. maybe after he dies?

Ginny is perfect for Harry. It's almost like James Potter and Lily Evans again though they both haven't fought with each other like James and Lily did.

Are you kidding? Does nobody recognize the CLASSIC Spiderman trick JKR is trying to pull here? Harry and Ginny are just like Peter and MJ-- He says he can't be with her because it's too dangerous, and she tells him he's full of it. But just like Peter and MJ, I'm sure Harry and Ginny will have a whole truck load of drama to deal with. It's just no fun that way.

And, uh, just my opinion, but Harry and Hermione are the perfect brother and sister pair. Neither one has had a sibling before, after all.
