I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure Hermione is actually quite good looking as she grows up but Harry is just a typical boy who wouldn't really notice it because he doesn't think of her like that.

If movie!Hermione showed up at my school, she wouldn't be considered sexy. I always thought Hermione was pretty but didn't put time into her appearance.

I think she was really-well portrayed in the first and second films. If they'd just make her hair frizzy again I think she wouldn't seem quite so "sexy," or at least sexier than she is in the books. I sort of picture her as a kind of geeky girl who has potential - if she wants to look hot, she can (ex. Yule Ball).

i think she looks fairly normal and she isn't really shown as sexy. she's not in skimpy clothing with her hair done super super nice and she's not always flirting. i believe she just finally figure out how to make herself look better groomed. although it would be fun to see her all disheveled from schoolwork =) frizzy hair, tired, papers everywhere, etc.

I think that because Emma Watson is pretty, people automatically assume that in the film she is being represented as sexy. I think that the way she is represented is normal - a teenage girl. However, I also think that she is becomming less Hermione-like (frizzy, untamable hair) and becomming more Emma-like.

But I do not think that she is portrayed as too sexy for her role.

Yeah, Emma is too good-looking, but they couldn't know she'd become like this when they casted her for the 1st movie. But hey, who complains seeing her in a movie?

i think as Hermione grows up in the books that she would get better looking anyway, b/c she's a smart girl, she'd know how to make herself pretty w/o too much effort. the only thing about her appearance in the movies that bugs me is her hair is getting to close to blonde, it needs to be darker.

in the last book they even mentioned boys looking at her

yeah she should be quite ugly and repugnant, instead she has become a sexsymbol :/ but it's kinda fun :P

Maybe not sexy though. But in Goblet of Fire, when her Yule Ball reveal was supposed to be something crazy, it was just: "She looks exactly the same but with a half-updoo. There was no transformation since they got rid of everything about her character's physical description. Even in DH, she is bushy-headed and a bit crazed at times. Film Hermione is just sort of there, nothing about her is interesting anymore, unfortunately.

I don't think they made her look sexy. Emma Watson can't help the fact that she's naturally pretty.

I don't think there making her too sexy, she just looks normal to me, she does'nt wear skimpy outfits or too much make up. It's just the books don't concertrate on her changing apperance becouse it's from Harry's point of view and he does'nt think of her in that way. A lot more description is put into Ginny in the 6th book becouse Harry is attracted to her

I'm not saying she's too sexy. But she's prettier than book Hermione.
