Only person who comes closest to truly understanding you / Only person who knows your full plan and follows it regardless

For both of them, I feel they are the only person who has maybe seen some of the darkest parts of each other, and still remained, I don't think friends says enough about what they are to each other, neither does co-worker, companion, its more like, they are each other's priest/confessor.

I don't think she means couples, just like bonds and how they act around each other.

Err, yes! I'm really NOT talking about couples here!

The intense antagonism BUT also that link they share of Lily makes this dynamic fascinating to me. I find Snape one of the most compelling characters in the books/films because he's so conflicted, so torn. I find it endlessly intriguing that Snape loathes Harry for his father, and saves him for his mother. What a great testament to the complications of love and loyalty.

I want to know so much more about their friendship. It's the same way I feel about the Dumbledore/McGonagall relationship; they're so much history left to learn about them!
