One Direction's Harry Styles meets Bristol X Factor hopeful Jake Sims

WARMLEY X Factor contender Jake Sims is back on Twitter with a new account, with a picture showing him with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles and a video of Stereo Kicks’ Saturday night performance which saw the group progress by the skin of their teeth.

Jake, a member of band Stereo Kicks shut down his previous Twitter account after people found drug references on it. National newspapers printed old tweets of his about smoking “herb” and made references to crack cocaine in quoting a lyric from rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Jake’s Twitter account was immediately deleted and he apologised to ITV bosses.

It was the second time the Bristol hopeful has been caught up in a social media scandal after nude pictures of him – posted on his Twitter page in 2012 – were leaked online two weeks ago.
