I miss the old days (a "rant"+contains spoilers)

Like the عنوان says, I miss the old days, the early seasons of House.
When I talk about the early seasons I'm talking mainly about seasons 1-3, but also season 4.
Why is it that I get this warm fuzyy feeling when I think back but get a nasty feeling when I think about seasons 5 and 6?
Does anyone else feel like this? I haven't even watched many episodes of season 6 yet, because I'm just not excited to watch them anymore.

I have been thinking a lot lately about the direction of House fandom. Moments were a scarce feature in the winter. Mostly, the time passed quickly. Days moved through time with a definite purpose and overwhelming guilt. Snow blanketed over streets and railways and bus stop benches, heaven had never been so beautiful. But this was Chicago, and winter had its kryptonite.
