Sam killed Lila. Sam killed Lila. Sam killed Lila.
Shall we all creepily chant that together along with Annalise and Wes? Too bad it isn\'t true.
Pretty sure we all knew Sam didn\'t actually kill Lila but they sure were setting us up to believe that as
How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 14 and How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 15 gave us some valuable insight into the night Lila met her demise. Was it who you expected?
Before that reveal, let\'s delve into this two part spectacular, which was epic on pretty much all levels.
Hour one swirled around a priest accused of killing another priest. Honestly, it was a pretty decent case of the week but it was hard to concentrate on that when everything else was just so much more intriguing.
Annalise did her best with the case, getting little help from Father Andrew who flip flopped more than a politician. It was nice to see Tom Everett Scott back on my television screen and he did a great job conveying the emotions of a priest who did wrong but didn\'t regret his actions.
Father Andrew: Brian and I spent considerable time together. The dark room had became a place where he felt safe enough to tell me, his friend, what was troubling him. That he was being abused by someone. Shortly after his death, I came to learn that person was Father Bernard. That\'s why I killed him. And I\'d do it again.
Permalink: Brian and I spent considerable time together. The dark room had became a place where he felt...
Annalise got a fellow partitioner, whom Father Andrew loved, to lie for him, but that ended up being too much for him and he changed his plea back to guilty as a result. Come on sir, don\'t waste Annalise\'s time like that!
While that case ate up a lot of time, other parts of the hour were spent with Wes busy trying to prove that Rebecca may have killed Lila. By retracing steps, looking at police records and re-reading statements, Wes was pretty adamant that Rebecca was Lila\'s killer. When he brought it up to the group everyone was understandably pissed and they went right to Rebecca to get her side of the story.
No! Do not look at him. You ruined our lives, don\'t you get that? I was supposed to be getting married and I\'m not anymore. Ayden called off the wedding because of you. You dragged us into the horror show that is your life and now we\'re all screwed forever. So you\'re going to tell us the truth. Every horrible secret about that night that you haven\'t told anyone. Or I swear to God, I will personally destroy you. Tell us the damn truth, Rebecca. Did you or did you not kill Lila?
Permalink: No! Do not look at him. You ruined our lives, don\'t you get that? I was supposed to be...
I\'ve never liked Michaela more than tonight. Between this verbal smackdown and her conversation with Mrs. Walker, she was really bringing the sass and I loved it. A little badass Laurel 2.0, if you will.
Anyway, once Rebecca threatened them, they did the next logic thing, which was to tie her up in the bathroom and call m
Annalise. She was less than thrilled about this new turn of events but she went along with it and before you know it that had moved Rebecca over to the Keating residence and got ready to put her on trial.
Once Rebecca decided to stay put in the house, I figured she was innocent. I never fully bought that she killed Lila, but you never know with this show. Sometimes making the most obvious person the killer is a brilliant move because you never expect it to be that easy.
Ultimately, Wes was going to be the one to get Rebecca to open up because, LOVE. And when she finally did open up, I believed her.
The reason Rudy saw her wet was because she was hiding in the water tank with Lila\'s dead body, having discovered it. Pretty traumatizing stuff.
Speaking of Rudy, poor dude was drugged up on PCP and that purple haze, which caused him to overdose and claw into his bedroom wall. That was kind of anti-climatic, right? They built up those wall scratchings all season and it\'s like, just a crazy guy tripping out on drugs, breaking his fingernails off! No big deal!
Once the truth came out, Annalise was ready to ask Rebecca to keep quiet about everything but when she went to get her, she was gone. Who the hell let her go? Obvious answer is Wes, but he swore it didn\'t do it?
So who did you ask? NO ONE! And you know why no one? Because....REBECCA IS DEAD! That final shot was definitely a game changer, especially considering we have no idea who did it.
Frank: No. Annalise, you know I\'m not that guy. Besides, I thought it was you.
Annalise: Because I\'m that guy? Of course not.
Frank has been a quiet guy a lot of the season but he was front and center tonight and I did not hate it. He may have blanched at being called a hitman by ladylove Laurel, but he proved tonight that there\'s pretty much nothing he won\'t do.
Such as, KILL LILA STANGARD! And he did it because Sam asked him too. What did Sam have over him? And clearly Annalise doesn\'t know he killed Lila, right, so what\'s she going to do when she inevitably finds out?
THANK GOD FOR HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER SEASON 2.
Bonnie ad Asher are very much a thing and everyone knows it. No one knows what to think about it or how to react, which is completely hilarious.
Laurel found Michaela\'s engagement ring the night of Sam\'s murder and held onto it, believing she\'d be less likely to squeal knowing that ring was missing. Bad. Ass.
Annalise got hot Nate beat up, but it was all to get him out of jail. He\'s out for now and he finally called that mysterious phone number Annalise slipped him in How To Get Away With Murder Season 1 Episode 13. Who do you think that number belongs too?
Oliver tested HIV Positive, while Connor did not. I\'ll be very interested to see the new couple navigates this situation next season.
Annalise and Wes continue to be creepy together. Seriously, what is up with them?
The new prosecutor on Nate\'s case is digging around, looking for information on Annalise. She went to Asher first. Uh oh.
Did I mention Frank killed Lila and Rebecca is dead! Yeah, I think I did but it\'s worth repeating!
This show came in with a bang and left with an even bigger one. While many of our questions were answered, we\'re left with so many more to ponder. Why did Frank owe Sam? Who did Rebecca text while she was being held captive? Is the new prosecutor targeting Annalise? WHO KILLED REBECCA?
We need to discuss this in the comments, you guys. We have a long way to go before Season 2, so lets talk it out! And remember to watch How to Get Away with Murder online right this instance so you can join in the chatter!

Okay... After watching the episode I was in total shock. So upset that I went to bed... I couldn\'t do it. So I slept on it and now I can comment. ALl I could say when they revealed Frank killed Lila was NOOOOOOOO NO NO NO NO NO NO ! It was bad. What did Sam have on him ? It\'ll be noce if we find out. Sam HAD Lila killed. Sure I always said he didn\'t kill her but he still had her murdered. And it\'s as good as. And Frank acting all shocked and stuff when Laaurel suggested he handled Rebecca. Please. I am soooo disappointed. Now I oh so wanna find out who the heck Franck is. Because he has connections so deep that Nate got beaten up in jail. Ex mafia member ? Honestly, Annalise went to far where Nate is concerned. Too much is too much. The hell she put that man through. Fine he called that number, but I honestly hope he\'ll steer clear from her ! I so thought it was Bonnie during the episode. And it was hilarious when the guys found out about her and Asher. Who btw, is gonna be more involved in all this. New prosecutor is interrogating him, Bonnie and Frank used him to get the Judge in Nate\'s case out AND he showed up at the house where, AGAIN, Connor\'s car was parked. It just too much lol. Rebecca\'s story on the night of Lila\'s murder was something. I felt bad foe her when Lila just flipped and dropped the act. Because Rebecca really thought they were friends. She even went looking for her. Though she had been lying right, left and center ! So Lila\'s boyfirend was telling the truth about how things went down. It was not nice. As Wes vouched for her and all. But finding and hiding in the water tank when your friend was dumped in, now that must have been hell. The Keating 4 did not go easy on her. Heck they went as far as tying her up ! Annalise tried to get to the bottom of things but Rebecca was not helping. And what she did to Rudy ! Unforgivable. That kid\'s life is ruined because of it. Now, Rebecca\'s Eggs 911 doesn\'t mean anything to me. I have no idea who/what it is. The fact that she went and found the campus cop was ballsy ! As for who killed, I will not even attempt to try. I won\'t go through this again LOL. Wes looked a bit shocked when he saw she was gone, but apart from that, I have no idea whatsoever ! Then Oliver and Connor... That was just heart-wrenching ! Connor turned out to be clean when Oliver was diagnosed HIV positive. Wow. I honestly thought he had been told the contrary ! What happened there. I hope Connor doesn\'t abandon him. But then again, it is Connor. Let\'s hope. Michaela had some new found badassery this week ! Damn ! The way she spoke to Aiden\'s mom about the real reasons why she wants her to marry her son was priceless. I guess judging by mom\'s look she was right on the money ! Then Laurel put more baddass in the mix when she gave her the ring back. LMAO ! Wanted her to keep her mouth shut. Well it worked. BAM ! Season 2 will have me try a different approach now that I know how the show works. Who killed Rebecca will be s02\'s mystery. I will start speculating when I see more. Season 1 had me in so much shock and all. I gotta protect that heart. lol. What a finale ! What a finale ! Amazing....
I think it was Michaela who killed Rebecca, because she was driven over the edge by what had happened and blamed Rebecca, so she killed her.
So in a way Sam did kill Lila by having Frank do it for him! I am REALLY upset that Rebecca was killed, she is so beautiful and mixed up you had to root for her. It\'s not nice that a young girl was murdered but Lila was not appealing at all and what she EVER saw in Sam is far beyond me.
Good question who Rebecca texted and said Eggs 911. Mmm interesting. I m dying to know what Sam had on Frank that Frank had no choice but to dirty his hands by killing Lila.
I also knew somehow that Frank or Bonnie were going to be the ones who killed Lila.. I think even Rebecca knew. But now it be interesting to know what Sam had on Frank that he had him, kill her. In a way it was Sam who did it too. Frank was the tool. I feel sorry for Oliver I felt sad when he told Oliver he had HIV and when he was crying, poor him. I hope Oliver sticks by him in his ordeal and not running away from him, because of course he wont like to sleep with him anymore and he will want to break up with him. Those two honestly look cute together. The gay topic her on this show is approached differently in my opinion so that is why their relationship does not look gross they look cute. Now start our speculation who killed Rebecca? Was it Bonnie, Nate, or once again Frank. Ohh Frank you evil evil man. But what a good looking killer you are hehe!!! Who from the group was missing during the time Wes went to tell the group about Rebecca and the moment Annalise went downstaris to find out she was gone already? or all of the Keating 5 or 4 inclduing Bonnie and Frank were there? Asher was not there remember even though he does not have a clue of what happened about all this mess of Sam, Lila and Rebecca. But Asher could not kill Rebeca if he does not know anything about the case. So who did? MMMM. What about Sam sister, Hannah? What if she was in town but did not let anyone know she was in town and found out on her own that Rebecca could have killed Sam, so she slipped in the house let Rebeca escape and dragged here somewhere to kill her? Darn now to wait for S2 darn that will be a long hiatus!!!!
I WISH that I could say I was cool enough to say I saw that coming but I was in shock that it was Frank who killed Lila. A friend of mine has been saying it since probably day 1 and I stood my ground and was convinced it was going to be Miss BonBon but Frank was surprisingly shocking, yet satisfying at the same time. It made sense. I honestly have no idea how we all didn\'t see this coming. Throughout the season Frank has shown time and time again that he is willing to push the envelope and do the shadiest things. Even if maybe we shouldn\'t have seen it coming that Sam was the one who made him do it, we all probably should have thought that Annalise did. That scene when we finally get to see him kill Lila was complete and utter perfection. The music that was playing, then the slow pan around of the camera from Lila to his face. It was INSANE. I will admit, halfway through the episode I convinced myself that I was going to be disappointed by the reveal, like I was with the Sam one. The writers are fantastic at giving us OMG moments almost every episode but when we learned Wes killed Sam after almost a whole season of waiting I yawned. THIS. MADE. UP. FOR. IT. (Am I the only one who was sorta hoping it would end up being Asher?! I want Asher to have something more exciting to do than just be the funny one, even though he does that job perfectly and is by far one of my favorite characters) I have been wondering recently what was going to be the mystery for next season. How were they going to sustain this phenomenon that HTGAWM has become? I definitely can say that I didn\'t think they were going to take care of that issue by killing off Rebecca. Rebecca has been someone that I have never known how exactly to feel about. Some weeks I loved her, some weeks I hated her. I never thought that she actually killed Lila though. This week was probably my favorite week of Rebecca all season. All the flashbacks to the night Lila was killed showed such a different, more vulnerable, side to her. I wish that they had done these flashbacks BEFORE tonight though because I really didn\'t care that she died. Even though I didn\'t care that she died I am excited to try to figure out who killed her. My money is on my beloved BonBon, again (yes one day I will be right about her being guilty). She was looking awfully guilty this episode with all these strange looks she kept delivering and I was thinking, well more like hoping, that it meant that she was Lila\'s killer and was worried that they were going to figure it out. However, maybe it was more of a hint of things to come. Bonnie was in love with Sam. Sam died basically as a result of being accused of Lila\'s murder. If Bonnie thought that Rebecca really was the one who killed Lila she might have blamed her for Sam\'s murder. Plus the fact that Wes killed Sam trying to save her. The Annalise and Nate situation is fascinating to watch. I wondered how Annalise was going to get Nate out of the situation she put him in. The beating at the prison, the fake story about him and Sam having a physical alteration the night he died. Annalise Keating is a genius. The Keating 5 (or well technically 4 because Asher doesn\'t know anything about it, despite the fact that he unknowingly has been dragged into it now by Bonnie, Frank and Annalise by using him to set up that judge and get her off Nate\'s case) are lucky to have Annalise helping them get away with murder. Too bad that pesky prosecutor doesn\'t seem to be buying her story. I will give it to this new lawyer, it is nice to see her trying to actually find the truth instead of just doing her job and trying to prove Nate is guilty. I am loving this new BA Laurel. Laurel was probably my least favorite character when HTGAWM started but each week she is proving more and more just how awesome she is. Her having Mikayla\'s ring this whole time and using it to keep her quiet was the icing on the cake. Speaking of Miss Mikayla, wow that bayou trash act that she pulled on Aiden\'s mom was FABULOUS! Too bad I wouldn\'t buy her as trash for even a minute. Oliver\'s storyline is so heartbreaking. I really believed him when he told Connor he was clean. Him having HIV completely caught me off guard. When he was crying I was thinking maybe it was another STD, something curable. I wanted to cry when he admitted the truth. I hope Connor really ends up being Oliver\'s rock and doesn\'t run away like he probably wants to. It\'s gonna be a long wait for season 2 and I really hope Viola Davis agreed to more than 15 episodes for the second season because I need more episodes next time.
Bonnie did look guilty didn\'t she ! One day we will be right about her LOL. ! One day....
Well, in a way, Sam still did kill Lila - with Frank as his weapon (or tool). So, a measure of justice was done. I agree that Connor better stick with Oliver. But ,being Connor, we know there will be a rocky road ahead for them at best - last episode, he wouldn\'t even tell Oliver he loved him, and that was BEFORE the diagnosis.
O..........M............G................They really got me. I had NO CLUE that Frank killed Lila for Sam...........I am planning on binge watching this again..........I missed something. Annalise will put this together.......and when she does................uh oh............... So who killed Rebecca? Wes was the last one to see her...................but we\'re lead to believe someone else slipped in there between the time Wes returned to the group to tell what he\'d learned and Annalise went back down and discovered her gone.......and who was that Rebecca texted.........Could it be Bonnie? I hope Connor doesn\'t slip back into his old ways because the news with Oliver. They didn\'t say Connor was a carrier of HIV(unless I missed it) or that he was positive......so it wasn\'t from Connor that Oliver end up positive...... The Fall can\'t get here fast enough.......
I agree on all points except about Fall, please let me have a nice, warm summer. I\'m freezing this winter! Great season finale.
I concur, kris52. This is the coldest winter on record in New Hampshire (going back to 1870), and the 3rd snowiest ever. C\'mon Spring!
Now it\'s time to find out who killed Rosie Larsen... I mean Rebecca.
I ended up not caring who killed her. Poor Oliver. The only nice character on the show. I was looking forward to them being happy for a while. If Connor doesn\'t stand by him I\'m not watching this show again!
Even felt a bit of sympathy for Rebecca today. Seems like she was doomed as soon as she made friends with Lila.
They are starting to become friends and tell each other things. Was shocked when Connor told them all about the HIV test, then Laurel returned the ring and Micheala told everyone her wedding was off. If they\'re all talking to each other, we might learn a bit more about them series two, we still know very little!
