House had kept himself locked up in his office, immersed in the thoughts of his boss. He could feel the conflict within her and it saddened him to think that he had done it. House’s thoughts were interrupted سے طرف کی his team who came in presenting a case. Thirteen handed him the dark blue folder. House scanned through the contents before throwing it back at Thirteen.
“Pass it to Wilson; he has caner,” he said.
“How can آپ know that, we haven’t done any tests,” Foreman argued.
“I dunno,” House said; zoning out again. “Oh, and when آپ come into an office, you’re meant to knock, it’s common courtesy,”
‘You can talk,’ came the woman’s voice into his head. ‘You barge into my office nearly every single دن asking for some ridiculous test,’
‘And how did it go? I’m the one who monitors your thoughts closey?’
‘Go to work, آپ have clinic in ten minutes,’
‘Thanks for the reminder,’ he replied in a sarcastic thought.
Cuddy intended on using exactly the same tone as he had done. ‘Now, your sarcastic thoughts need some work on them; you’re a lot better at speaking sarcastically,’
‘Shut up, now you’re distracting me,’
‘I bet آپ couldn’t go a week without any contact with me,’
‘Wanna bet? I’m sure you’d buckle at the knees and come crawling to me within the first fourty eight hours,’ House thought.
‘You’re on; one small problem, what are we betting?’
‘Well, we’ll just say that the winner gets to decide upon winning,’
‘Fine,’ she thought dismissingly.

They’d survived five hours without any kind of contact. Cuddy had already gone home, having the babysitter called telling her that Rachel had been sick, She had contacted Wilson to fill in for her at the hospital.
When Cuddy arrived ہوم she found Rachel was only running a temperature. She paid the babysitter and sat down to finish her paperwork. When she opened up the first file, a small envelope fell out and onto the coffee table. She read the تاریخ that was on the back.
‘Two months ago? No one writes to me unless it’s work related.’ she thought.
She gently tore the back and slid the letter out of its holder. It was addressed from House.
Cuddy,
I need to be with you; to be honest to you; to tell آپ what I really am. I am sorry fro what I have done to آپ in the past, but I am slowly reaching my ‘use by’ date. I can’t bare it. Come see me tonight at seven.
House.
Why hadn’t she found it earlier? Was this a true test for her? It reminded her of her deeper feelings for the man; she couldn’t just sit there and let fate decide, could she?
Cuddy went to بستر that evening with a feeling of confusion, loneliness and the pain from her حالیہ change.

I was reading up on opiate withdrawal and apparently آپ can go through withdrawal not just to stop taking the drug, Vicodin in House’s case, but to reduce the amount you’re taking.
So in House’s case, like Wilson said; his Vicodin levels where way to high and so the only option was to let his body recover and reduce it’s need for that amount it got everyday.
Therefore, the اگلے morning when he was seemingly better; it was because of the extreme cold-turkeyness that House used to reduce his levels of Vicodin in order for his hallucination of Amber to go away. So I don’t think it was a hallucination, because he hasn’t quit Vicodin, he has only reduced the amount he takes within the space of a horrible 24 گھنٹہ detox. His body no longer craves the Vicodin every گھنٹہ یا so like before.
Short and simple :)
