Mom and House eventually had to go back to work, so I headed back into Michael's room.

He looked so weak and frail in that big bed. He was like half the بستر size, maybe even less.

I walked closer to the بستر until the railing was touching me, and I reached over and ran my fingers through his hair. I sat down in the plastic chair سے طرف کی his بستر and held his good hand. I layed my head on a spot on the بستر and put my other hand on his stomach.

Rachel opened the door and gasped at what she saw.

He stared into her eyes for a moment and let her reach down to the first step of the stairs.

Her hands were still holding the back of his neck, not letting him to widen the space between them. Cuddy was aware of what she just said, waiting for his reaction. He knew her for a long time, she wasn’t a good girl, but maybe she let go too fast now, showed her needs too fast.
