Chapter 2

They were still standing on the floor, hugging each other in complete silence. House smiled at her.

“Congrats”

Cuddy looked at him confused as he tried to stand up.

“For what?”

She helped him stand up and they both sat on the couch.

House bit his tongue and wrapped his arm around Rachel's shoulders and held her close to him as she wrapped her arms around his waist, her head resting on his arm. He led her to the car in the parking lot and let her in the passenger seat. Cuddy wasn't going ہوم yet since she had an emergency board meeting and told them to go ہوم ahead of time.
