Why haven't the writers included a medical librarian in any of their episodes? I only see an occasional reference to a journal مضمون یا one of the doctors looking up مضامین on PubMed.

All I can think is it would have gone over as well as Layla Harrison in The X-Files....oh GOD that was SUCH A MARY SUE CHARACTER! I know this cause the writers shoved her in there from a woman who wrote fic and Layla was that woman's Mary Sue for the پرستار fic universe and cause she died of cancer یا was dying of cancer یا something they put Layla in there like that was a good idea. All Layla did was rave about OMG MULDER AND SCULLY ARE AWESOME AND I LOVE THEM! And I think like all her character did was handle their expense reports. Luckily this was in season 9 and they were clearly out of ideas سے طرف کی the point where Mulder "Died" and then didn't "Die" and William was half alien, but still....ugh. Not saying if they did that in House the character would have to be a Mary Sue but it would come across as that so I am glad they didn't include something like that, it's the only reason I can think of why they didn't.
