"JANE EYRE" (1983) Review

As long as I can remember, both the Hollywood and British film industries have trotted out شارلٹ Brontë’s 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre" in order to make a movie یا ویژن ٹیلی adaptation of it. Looking back, I realize that I have seen at least six adaptation of the novel in my life time.

One of those adaptations turned out to be the 1983 BBC miniseries, "JANE EYRE". Directed سے طرف کی Julian Amyes and adapted سے طرف کی Alexander Baron, the eleven-part miniseries starred Zelah Clarke in the عنوان role and Timothy Dalton as Edward Rochester. Following Brontë’s novel, "JANE EYRE"...

"JANE EYRE" (1973) Review

When I began this article, it occurred to me that I was about to embark upon the review of the sixth adaptation I have seen of شارلٹ Brontë's 1847 novel. I have now seen six adaptations of "Jane Eyre" and plan to watch at least one یا two more. Meanwhile, I would like to discuss my گیا پڑھا مرتبہ on the 1973 ویژن ٹیلی adaptation.

For the umpteenth time, "JANE EYRE" told the story of a young English girl, who is forced to live with her unlikable aunt-by-marriage and equally unlikable cousins. After a clash with her Cousin John Reed, Jane Eyre is sent to Lowood Institution...

"JANE EYRE" (1943) Review

Many شائقین of شارلٹ Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre", are aware that numerous (probably over twenty) ویژن ٹیلی and movie adaptations of it had been made over the past several decades. While perusing the Internet, I was surprised to discover that the opinion of the 1943 adaption seemed to be extremely divided. شائقین either regard it as the best adaptation یا the worst. There seemed to be no middle ground.

As many know, "JANE EYRE" told the story of young 19th century English orphan who is forced to live at the Yorkshire estate of her widowed aunt-by-marriage, Aunt...

Hi! I hope this is okay to post here. I’ve written a Jane Eyre modernization that started as fanfic but is now on ایمیزون Scout. آپ can get the book for free if آپ nominate and ایمیزون chooses to کریں شائع it! It’s called The Rise and Fall of Jane, link: https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/15JZED1BJR0D7

Anyway, I love all things Jane! When I graduated from high school, my dad even managed to take me to the Broadway دکھائیں that was playing for a while. I’ve read almost all the retellings and sequels I can find (besides rereading the original every so often) so I finally decided to write my own! Even if آپ don’t want to nominate on Amazon, آپ can still find a version of my story on fanfiction.net if you’d like something Eyre-related to read.
Thanks again!

"JANE EYRE" (1997) Review

There have been many adaptations of شارلٹ Brontë’s 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And I do not exaggerate. If I must be honest, I really have no idea of the number of adaptations made. I have seen at least six of them – including his 1997 ویژن ٹیلی movie that aired on the A&E Channel in the U.S. and on ITV in Great Britain.

Directed سے طرف کی Robert Young, and starring Samantha Morton as the titled character and Ciarán Hinds as Edward Rochester; "JANE EYRE" told the story of a young and impoverished English woman forced to become a teacher at a girls’ school in...

"JANE EYRE" (2011) Review

There seemed to be certain famous British novels that are always adapted for film یا ویژن ٹیلی . . . over and over again. One of those novel is شارلٹ Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". There have been twelve ویژن ٹیلی adaptations and seventeen movie adaptations. That must be a world record for any literary piece. I have seen at least three ویژن ٹیلی adaptations and four movie adaptations. The most حالیہ I have seen is the 2011 motion picture, directed سے طرف کی Cary Fukunaga.

"JANE EYRE" - at least this version - begins with governess Jane Eyre leaving Thornfield Hall...

"JANE EYRE" (1996) Review

According to the Wikipedia website, there have been sixteen film adaptations of شارلٹ Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And there have been ten ویژن ٹیلی adaptations of the novel. That is a hell of a lot of adaptations for one novel. A lot. And judging سے طرف کی the numbers, I have no immediate plan to see every movie یا ویژن ٹیلی adaptation. But I have seen at least five یا six adaptations. And one of them is Franco Zeffirelli's 1996 movie adaptation.

Adapted سے طرف کی Zeffirelli and Hugh Whitemore, "JANE EYRE" told the story of a 19th century English orphan named Jane Eyre,...

Okay so I only watched the 2006 movie and have been asking if I really did want the crazy wife in the attic to die.
I have been a bit confused on some points since I never read the book as in why she was smiling when she threw herself off the rooftop. یا why her brother was so pissed to see Jane and Rochester being married. Sigh....
I feel somewhat sorry for the crazy wife in the attic though. Her husband was cheating on her and was trying to get married while he was still married to her. Just say I am a sucker for sad endings....
So I want to her your opinion! Post your opinion in the comments!
