Chapter 13: Feel like آپ make me
Ever since Atie could remember, she had hated the feeling of being trapped. It made her feel helpless and weak, it made her feel like it was always going to be this way. That there would be no end to this misery. That she would always be alone. But even her own thoughts shocked her this time, because as she looked around, she was not alone at all. The city hall was filled with people. It was filled with families, young couples in love, دوستوں trying to tell jokes to pass the time, and then the occasional lonely people who Atie couldn't help but to feel sorry for. Because even though she couldn't exactly understand how, she knew what it felt like to be alone. To have no one.
"What are آپ thinking about?" Ian asked as he sat down اگلے to her, offering her a donut the others were handing out as breakfast.
"About when we'll catch the damned بھیڑیا and get out of here", Atie said. "I'm not a پرستار of closed quarters."
".....this place is huge."
"Okay, fine, I am not a پرستار of being trapped in a place that I can't leave. Did I phrase it better for you?" Atie sighed.
Ian raised his eyebrows, but nodded anyway, taking a bite of his donut. "I'm not a پرستار of it either."
"You don't seem too bothered", Atie pointed out.
"Well, maybe I don't want to دکھائیں what I'm really feeling", Ian کہا with a smile. "Showing all your card takes all the fun out of the game."
"Or it makes آپ seem vulnerable, and آپ hate that."
Ian paused. "How would آپ know that?"
Atie froze. How did she know that? "I don't know."
Ian chuckled. "Looks like you've done a bit of digging about me. Don't worry, I don't mind it. I think it's cute, in fact."
"You know what I think is cute?" Atie smirked.
"When I don't.... act smug", Ian smiled. "Right, yeah. I have to work on that. It's not who I really am, it's just-"
"How آپ were raised", Atie said, again wondering exactly how she knew this.
Ian smiled in awe. "Yeah."
They sat like that for a while, talking and eating.
Rapunzel was up in her tower, staring at the wall. There were hardly any furniture in the room, only a few chairs and the بستر and a bookshelf. And that painting of an old ship out in the sea. And time and time again Rapunzel kept on staring at it, wondering what it'd be like to see the ocean, just once. Sometimes she even dared to dream what it'd be like to actually be able to sail a کشتی like that, to get away from her harsh reality. But she knew that it could never happen. She had wracked her brain for years, trying to think of a way out, but the witch would always find her, so what was the point? After all, she could have a worse life. She was fed three times a day, she did some chores in the house and in the yard, but she could never, ever talk to a stranger. The witch had been very clear on that.
Rapunzel barely remembered her parents anymore. All she remembered was that she had been taken away at a very young age to live here, and she could not remember why. But she knew it had to be something her parents had done. She'd seen the witch punish people for disobeying her time and time again. She once even saw, up from her tower, as the witch turned a man into an سیب, ایپل درخت for having no money to pay her for the apples he'd stolen from the garden. And there it still was, the tree, growing and growing. Ironically enough, the apples that came out of that درخت seemed to be the most tasty ones, even though Rapunzel herself had never had the courage to taste them.
Rapunzel pressed her head against the nearest wall, wondering if this was how she was always going to live. But she never got to wonder for long, for soon the witch was calling for her to fetch her her tea, and Rapunzel did as told. Because after all, she'd rather obey than end up as a tree. But in any case, she wasn't as dumb as the witch thought her out to be. Rapunzel had observed the old woman ever since she had come to live with her. She knew she had a bad hip that magic apparently couldn't fix. She knew where the witch kept her wand and she knew that she despised pears. But none of this truly came in handy, because the witch had reassured Rapunzel that she also had a hidden secret. One she would use against her if she ever tried to escape. And Rapunzel was too afraid to call her bluff. And even if she did run, where would she go? So she did what she always did: she poured the witch her tea, baked her سیب, ایپل pie, dusted the rooms, and then went back to her chambers, combing her, long, long hair, daring to do nothing but long for the better days.
"So, آپ and Richard", Aline کہا as she and Rachel were getting ready to go out again to find the بھیڑیا that ہولی had shot. "You're...?"
"Taking it slow", Rachel couldn't help but to smile. "We did kiss last night."
Aline smirked. "About time. That آپ did it without آپ running off."
"I know that was a mistake, and I told him as much, too, and then we just...", Rachel shrugged with a smile on her face. "Well, he's... I really, really like him."
"Yeah, I'm sure آپ two will work on communication", Aline chuckled. "I'm really happy for you. I'm sure he'll treat آپ well."
"The سوال is, will I treat him well?" Rachel sighed as she loaded her gun. "I just don't want to mess this up."
"You won't", Aline assured her. "Just take it slow and see where it goes. But the main thing is that آپ like him and he likes you. Just start with that."
Rachel nodded with a smile. "And what about آپ and Colin?"
"Huh?"
"Come on, Aline, آپ like him and he likes you", Rachel repeated. "Just start with that, won't you?"
"Oh, I hate you."
"Hate me all آپ like, but آپ like Colin", Rachel said. "I know آپ do. And now that I've overcome my own fears, آپ have no way to call me a hypocrit for saying this: I really think you'd be good together. I really do."
"Since when have آپ cared about stuff like this?" Aline asked in confusion.
"I don't know. I feel like ever since... I don't know, the other night when Richard and I kissed, and also since yesterday morning, I've sort of felt مزید like myself if that makes sense."
"What happened yesterday morning?"
Rachel thought of the name again. And Nic's strange reaction to it. But she tried to ignore the thoughts. This was no time to get caught up in any sort of personal business. "I don't know, really. Hey, let's go hunt the wolf."
"Uh-huh", Aline glared at her friend in suspicion, but followed anyway, joining Colin in line as they were getting ready to take off. Suddenly Colin spoke up:
"You know..."
"What?" Aline asked with a warm smile.
"When all of this is over, I'm thinking آپ and I should take a little trip."
"A little trip?" Aline raised her eyebrows. "And آپ think now's the time?"
"Now's the perfect time", Colin said. "You definitely need to take the edge off."
"And leave Rachel running the sheriff station alone? I can't."
"Oh, come on, her boyfriend is the bloody Mayor, surely he can get her some help. It'd just be for a few days."
Aline smiled a little. "Where would آپ wanna go?"
"We'd just take my کشتی and sail to... wherever you'd want."
"Somewhere where we could get in less than a day", Aline said. "I don't know, I have this thing about water.... It makes me feel...", she couldn't exactly describe the feeling. "Very unpleasant."
"You could be below deck the entire time", Colin groaned with a goofy smile on his face. "Come on, I'd love to get away with you, away from all of this crap, at least for a few days."
Aline was incredibly touched سے طرف کی his suggestion, and honestly she truly wanted to go as well. But did she dare? She wasn't an idiot. She knew that if she'd go with him, something would be bound to happen on the trip. And was she ready for that?
"You know what? I'll think about it", Aline said. "You'll have my answer سے طرف کی tonight."
"I'd be willing to cook some very delicious meals for us to take with", Colin said. "Just throwing that as a final offer."
Aline smirked. "That does sound very tempting."
Colin kept on smiling at her for a moment before nodding. "Alright, tonight then."
"Tonight", Aline agreed as she got her gun ready. "Now, let's go kill some wolves."
"You know, saying that won't be very impressive for long since we've actually caught no wolves."
"Oh, bite me."
"You don't have to go, آپ know", Amber کہا as she watched James get ready to go with the تلاش party.
"Well, no, but I kind of want to", James chuckled, secretly touched about her concern. "There's a بھیڑیا on the loose. The مزید people go and hunt it down, the better."
Amber nodded, watching as he headed for the door. She wanted to say something, but she wasn't sure what. "Be safe, okay?"
James turned to look at her with a small smile as he nodded. "I will. And آپ too", with that he left the building, and Amber knew that she would spend all this time pacing back and forth in concern.
Maria hadn't gone with the تلاش party. She was still too confused about what had happened with Darren. He obviously knew exactly what was going on, and سے طرف کی his body language it wasn't hard to tell that he knew مزید than she had been told.
"Holly", she gestured as soon as she saw the girl, and she sat اگلے to Maria with a deep sigh.
"What's up, Maria?"
"I spoke to Darren last night. Did آپ hear about Nic?"
ہولی nodded. "It was good for him to leave. For now. I think he's trying to fix this from the outside, trying to find some sort of a way to break the curse, but I don't think he realized that سے طرف کی doing so he might never come back. Gladly he didn't go alone."
"How do آپ know?"
"Do آپ see Jess anywhere?" ہولی asked. "No. They left together. And I guess now it's up to us."
"Yeah, I guess so", Maria sighed. "So... about Darren. Just tell me who he is."
"Really?"
"Yes", Maria urged.
"Alright. He's your husband. Are آپ happy now?" she turned to look at Maria with a sad look on her face. "And he remembers. Nic told him not to tell آپ because he knew it would be too much for آپ to handle, and maybe it still is, but آپ deserve the truth. Especially now that you're the one in charge."
Maria's دل had stopped after the word "husband". It explained everything. It explained the way he had acted around her from the get go, it explained the way he behaved the night before. He loved her. Maria covered her mouth with her hand. "This is too much. Nic was right."
"No, he wasn't! آپ can handle this. And آپ will", ہولی said. "Now that آپ know who he is, آپ can... we can ask him to help us."
Maria looked at ہولی in disbelief. "Could I... could I have a moment?"
ہولی stood up. "Alright."
"How does he remember?"
"The coma. I guess... I guess it made him remember. یا maybe he'd never forgotten", ہولی said.
Maria nodded, until she froze. "Wait... a coma..."
"What?" ہولی asked in confusion.
"You don't think a coma could work on everyone? Make everyone remember?"
ہولی paused. "You... آپ want to put everyone in town in a coma? آپ know, everyone who falls into one might never wake up."
"Yeah, but it's worth a shot!" Maria کہا as she stood up. "I mean, I think we'd just need a volunteer."
"A volunteer?" ہولی asked. Then her mouth opened, and she turned her eyes to the couple whispering to each other a bit further away from them.
"What?" Maria asked in confusion.
"I guess Sleeping Beauty could be of some use, wouldn't آپ say?"
Aline and Colin were in the woods again. They had found no trace of the بھیڑیا where ہولی had hit it, but there was a trace of blood.
"I don't like this", Colin muttered. "It's just two animals. How could they not be found?"
"Oh, never underestimate the enemy", Aline joked.
"Even if the enemy is a wolf?"
"Yes, even if. I think these wolves are smart."
"Well, smarter than us, apparently", Colin کہا as he looked around. "Wait... do آپ hear that?"
Aline paused. She did. It was heavy breathing.
"I... is it coming from the bushes?" she whispered. She was heading closer to investigate when Colin grabbed onto her arm.
"No, I'll go. I want آپ safe", he whispered before stepping closer. He raised his gun as he looked behind the bushes.
"Oh."
"What?"
"Call everyone here", Colin کہا quickly. "Call them! It's Tyler!"
Aline rushed off to find the others while Colin helped a half-naked, half-conscious Tyler out from the behind the bushes. He was wounded.
"Oh, man, what the hell happened to you?" he muttered as he laid the man down on the ground.
Tyler muttered something that Colin couldn't make sense of, but when Colin leaned closer and Tyler whispered it in his ear, he heard it.
"What did he say?" Aline asked, because سے طرف کی the time she got back, Tyler was unconscious.
"He کہا he needs Elsa", Colin کہا in confusion. "Who the hell is Elsa?"
"So... آپ want to put Celine in a coma - like I was - to make her remember when she wakes up... Right." کہا Darren, skeptically.
There were standing in a deserted hallway just outside the room where everyone was gathered. Maria had decided to involve Darren in the plan as he already knew about the curse. She needed all the help she could get.
"She went through one before, it will work." Maria کہا desperately.
"I don't understand, how do آپ know-" Darren said, still looking at Maria and Fatemeh with disbelief.
Maria bit her lip anxiously, they didn't have time to explain. "We need آپ to carry Celine when we kidnap her."
"WHAT ?"
"Well, we can't really ask her to be put in a coma just because we tell her she's Sleeping Beauty." کہا Fatemeh with a mocking tone.
"But... there's no magic in this land." Darren pointed out, still not convinced.
"I still work at the hospital, I can get my hands on something."
"Wait. آپ want to put her under a coma medically? I thought we'd use the spindle." Maria intervened, turning her head to the brunette.
"I don't even know where it is, and besides he's right. There's no magic here, who knows if it would even work." Fatemeh said, shrugging.
"Maria, I'm not sure about this... This could go wrong. Isn't there another way?" Darren asked, still not believing how she could be on board with this.
"Fatemeh, can آپ give us a moment please?" Maria کہا after a pause.
Fatemeh nodded, re-entering the meeting room and seating at her spot, a few feet away from Celine and Paul eating breakfast together.
"Darren listen, I- I know it seems crazy but we have to try. With the بھیڑیا out there and nobody remembering a thing, we're running out of time. I would have asked Nic but he left God knows where and we just don't have any alternative." Maria said, her voice starting to crack. "I can't go on like this, I- I need to remember. About me, about... about us" she finished, tears in her eyes.
His دل ached at how helpless she looked so he nodded.
"What's the plan?"
Maria holds his hand, tears in her eyes. This had to work, it just had to.
When Fatemeh saw Maria and Darren walk towards her, she knew he had caved. Raising up to meet them she shot them a questioning look.
"So?"
"We'll do it as soon as she's alone. Preferably in the diner." Maria کہا nodding her head nervously.
"Yeah, Paul could be a problem." Fatemeh said, turning her head towards the loving couple sitting nearby.
"So this is it, then." Darren stated gloomily. Now he could only hope for the best.
Rapunzel was bored again. She couldn't even remember a time when she didn't feel helpless, locked in this tower. She had to do something about it and when the witch would come back, she would ask her if she could leave. After all, the witch had gave her کتابیں and painting supplies but Rapunzel knew deep down that the witch would never agree for this, not even for a دن and she suspected it was because the witch was afraid someone will recognize her as their princess and tell her parents where she was. Sighing, she sat سے طرف کی the window, watching birds fly above the tower and imagining how it felt to be this free. A neigh surprised her and made her jump. Rising up to her feet, she looked out the window and found a man on a horse, looking right up at her.
"I heard there is a pretty princess to rescue here. Am I at the right address?" the man said, a hint of mockery in his voice.
"Who are you?" Rapunzel asked suspiciously. Was this a trick from the witch?
"My name is Damon Salvatore and I've been chosen to rescue you" Now he sounded bitter. "Now will آپ let me in یا should I come سے طرف کی another day?"
"NO! Just hold on a minute." Trick یا no trick, she would not pass up on this opportunity. Gathering as much of her hair as she could, she threw it all over the window pane quickly. "Hold tight and climb." she cried to him while holding on to the nearby lamp. This was going to be painful.
Damon raised an eyebrow in amusement. "No stairs then?" He did not wait for her to answer and firmly grabbed her hair. Climbing should be easy.
It took longer than expected and after endless cries and grunts, he managed to enter through the window.
"Do آپ really weight that much?" Rapunzel asked, massaging her head gently.
"If this is how آپ thank me for rescuing you, آپ need مزید practice." Damon smirked, while looking around the room.
"Well, آپ didn't rescue me yet." She muttered under her breath.
"Right. Shall we go یا do آپ need to pack?" His tone was once again mocking and she almost snapped.
"What should I trust you? What tells me you're not working with her?"
"I don't care if آپ trust me, I just want to get this over with. My brother was sent to rescue a sleeping princess and I got you. So آپ can either come with me یا stay here and..." He looked around the room once again and Rapunzel felt self-conscious "do whatever آپ did before I got here." He finished, a stupid smile on his face.
"So this is what it is all about? Your family gets some reward for returning me to my parents."
"What did آپ think it was for? Your pretty eyes? I'm not that kind of prince."
"Yeah, I noticed." Sighing, she threw her hair once again over the window pane. It was too bad really, he would have been handsome if he was not so damn infuriating. "After you." She added, with a movement of her hand.
When he got down, she was unsure of what to do.
"Just jump, I'll catch you." Damon cried to her.
Was he crazy? "What? No!"
"Suit yourself." He turned around and started walking back to his horse.
"No, wait. I'll do it." She better hurt him a little bit so she can wipe that stupid smirk off his face. Taking a deep breath, she let herself fall and landed right into his arms with a huff.
"See, it worked" He کہا with a wink.
"Ugh. Just let me down." She started to struggle in his arms.
"Okay, okay princess. Don't need to be so rude." and he put her back on her feet. He started to walk back to his horse but noticed that she did not follow him. Turning around, he saw her walk in the opposite direction. "What are آپ doing?"
"Leaving. Thank آپ for getting me down." She waved her hand, still walking.
"I have to get آپ back to your parents so I can prove I rescued you."
Rapunzel snorted and kept walking "Good luck with that."
Damon cursed under his breath. He had no choice but to follow her. This princess was not what he expected at all. She was very different from others he knew and somehow it fascinated him.
Inés was waiting in that hallway for ten منٹ and there was no sign of Joseph anywhere. She was about to leave but she felt as if someone was behind her. Turning around, she saw Joseph leaning against the wall, smirking at her.
"Ready to leave already?"
Inés shrugged "I thought آپ weren't coming."
"I am a man of my word. I کہا I will be there and here I am." He said, straightening himself and taking a step towards her.
She couldn't help feeling like a prey under the scrutinizing gaze of a predator. It should frighten her but somehow she felt drawn to him even more. "Good to know. So what did آپ want to دکھائیں me?"
"All in good time, all in good time." Joseph کہا now completely in front of her and looking into her eyes as if he was looking for some answer. "Do آپ trust me?"
Inés was taken aback سے طرف کی his question. What did it have to do with anything? "I barely know you." She pointed out.
"True, true." Joseph chuckled "But would آپ say that you're incline to?"
Inés opened her mouth to answer but she didn't know what to say.
"Because if I دکھائیں آپ what I want to دکھائیں you, I have to be sure that آپ can keep my secret." Joseph continued, while tilting his head to the side.
"I can keep a secret." Inés کہا simply.
"But آپ don't trust me." Joseph stated, disappointment written all over his face. "You're right, آپ don't know me-" He stopped talking as his head jerked to the left as if he had heard something. After a small pause he spoke again "We should talk about it some other time." and smiled at Inés.
Inés turned her head around to see what could have distracted his attention but saw nothing. "What's wro-" Turning her head back to Joseph, she saw that he was gone. She stayed a few moments in the empty hallway, wondering about what was this all about when she heard screams coming from the meeting room where everyone was gathered. She immediately run to where the cries came from, only to discover that all hell broke loose.
After they had found Tyler, everyone decided it was better to stop the hunt immediately and take him to the Town Hall where he could be examined سے طرف کی Dr Eaton. سے طرف کی the time everyone was gathered around Tyler, he was unconscious and Ian and Sam had to carry him out of the woods. Holly, was at his side at all the time, anxiously waiting for him to regain consciousness. She wondered if he remembered anything from the past few days and how much she would have to tell him when he wakes up. When they finally arrived at the Town Hall, Tyler started to regain consciousness, but the cries coming from inside the building distracted everyone.
"What the Hell?" Aline said, reaching the main entrance and fetching the keys to open the doors.
But before she could, the door suddenly burst open and threw her to the ground. A gigantic بھیڑیا came rushing out and jumped right on Richard.
"No! Richard!" Rachel screamed, reaching for him but before she could take out her gun, the بھیڑیا was already running away in direction of the woods.
"What just happened?" asked Colin, rushing at Aline's side and helping her get back on her feet.
"Are آپ okay?" Rachel knelt اگلے to Richard, fear obvious in her voice.
"Yeah, I'm fine." he said, trying to stand up.
"Take it easy, آپ should go to the hospital to be sure." Rachel کہا with a worried look on her face.
"Yeah, let's grab Tobias and head there." Sam said, already leading a semi-conscious Tyler toward his car.
"WHERE IS SHE?" Paul shouted, running out to meet the group.
"Who?" Ian asked, concerned سے طرف کی his brother's distress.
"Celine. She was with me when the بھیڑیا was there and now she's gone. I can't find her anywhere." Paul was frantic.
"The بھیڑیا couldn't have taken her." Rachel stated calmly.
"And yet, God knows how, it managed to enter the locked Town Hall." Aline said, still massaging her head, where the door had hit her.
"Don't worry brother, we'll find her." Ian کہا sympathetically, putting his hand on Paul's shoulder.
"Okay, lay her down gently." Maria said, gesturing one of the booths to Darren.
"Okay. Now what?"
"Now, we wait for Fatemeh to come back." Maria کہا simply, trying not to panic about what they just did.
The initial plan was to put Celine in a coma when she would be alone with Maria in the dinner, however the chaos created سے طرف کی the بھیڑیا seemed to have provided enough distraction for Fatemeh to knock out Celine. Maria and Darren had managed to take her to the رات کے کھانے, شام کا کھانا while Fatemeh rushed to the hospital to find something that could put her in a coma.
"She better hurry. Paul is probably already looking for her." Maria said, pacing nervously.
"If he comes here, what do we say?" Darren was nervous too. This could go wrong at anytime.
"We tell him we find her like this? I don't know."
They didn't have the pursue the discussion has Fatemeh arrived at this precise moment.
"Okay, this is the strongest sedative I could get my hands on. Hope it does the trick." Fatemeh said, sticking the syringe's needle in Celine's arm.
"Oh my God. What if we kill her?" Maria said, starting to panic.
Fatemeh just glared at her, while taking Celine's wrist to check the pulse.
"Her heartbeat is slowing down, I think it's working." Fatemeh said, smiling.
"We should take her to the hospital." Darren said, already lifting Celine up.
"Wait. Don't آپ think they're going to ask about the fact that she was knocked out?"
"If they notice the bump, they'll probably think she got it when she fell." Fatemeh said, shrugging.
"She better remember when she wakes up یا she'll kill me." Maria said, following them to the car.
This was not what Damon had expected at all. He had expected a quiet, timid princess who would just fall into his arms like any other maiden would. Instead Rapunzel was fun, interesting and completely independent. She didn't let Damon boss her around, nor did she let him order the pace of their trip. She always کہا where they should stay for the night, what they should hunt for dinner, and even how Damon really, really, really should stop whistling every time they rode on horseback.
It should have annoyed Damon. But funnily enough, it didn't. She was special. So different from everyone else, and he was glad to at least be spending some time with her.
"So what sort of a reward do آپ even expect to get?" Rapunzel asked as they rode. "Surely you'll get something, but what is it that آپ need so badly?"
Damon turned to look at her with a smile. "Maybe that's none of your business."
"Or maybe I should ride off to my parents' قلعہ on my own", Rapunzel smirked.
Damon sighed, smiling a little, despite himself. "Our family is actually in a little bit of money trouble, so some aiding would not be that terrible."
"Wow", Rapunzel nodded. "Alright. I'll help you", she smiled.
Damon looked at her in surprise. "You will?"
"Yes. آپ saved my life", she کہا as if it was just that simple. "I'll speak to my parents." She thought about seeing them again. It made her happier than anything she had dared to imagine in a long time.
"Thank you", Damon said, watching her in amazement. Okay, maybe this hadn't been such a bad idea after all.
"Do آپ want to race me to over that hill?" Rapunzel asked, pointing at the ہل, لندن in the distance. She was already preparing the horse.
"No, no, we're not racing, because-"
Rapunzel was already off riding as fast as she could. And as Damon followed her with his horse, he couldn't help but to laugh in joy. Alright, maybe rescuing this stubborn princess was the best decision he had ever made in his life.
Everyone went to the hospital to get Tyler and Richard checked and still no sign of Celine anywhere. Defeated, Paul sat down on one of the benches in front of Richard's examination room.
"It has to be the بھیڑیا that took her." Paul said, his head in his hands.
"We saw the بھیڑیا and there was no Celine with it." Ian کہا calmly. It killed him that he couldn't help his brother.
"Yeah, but there's two wolves right?" Paul said, looking up with a determined look in his eyes.
"Paul..." As much as Ian wanted to help him, this was crazy. How could a بھیڑیا kidnap someone?
"Hey" ہولی کہا shyly, opening the door of Tyler's room.
"Hi. Come on in." Tyler smiled, but she could tell that he was exhausted.
"How are آپ feeling?" ہولی asked, taking a نشست اگلے to his bed.
"Like crap." he said, lowering his head.
"Hey, whatever آپ did as a بھیڑیا is not your fault. None of this is your fault." She grabbed is hand and squeezed it gently.
Tyler looked at ہولی with shock. "How do آپ know?"
She sighed. "There's a lot I need to tell آپ about but I'll wait until آپ feel better."
"I'm not the only one آپ know... Wolf, I mean." Tyler said, hating the fact that he sounded crazy.
"I know and we'll take care of him. I promise."
"He is like me, he can change but I don't know who he is."
"I know who he is. Don't worry about that right now." But she knew as soon as she saw anger in his eyes that he was not going to let go.
"Who is he?" he کہا menacingly. ہولی just shook her head. "Who?" he repeated, practically spatting the word.
"Joseph Morgan." she finally admitted.
"I'm going to find him and then I'll kill him." Tyler کہا clenching his fits and it frightened Holly. Even though, she wanted Joseph dead as much as he did, it terrified her to see him this angry, it didn't seem like the Derek she knew, the Derek she remembered.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she received a text on her phone. It was from Fatemeh.
"Shit." she کہا after reading the contents of the text. "I have to go, just rest. I'll be back." and after a kiss on his cheek, she left.
"You okay?" Rachel asked, as soon as she entered Richard's room. The doctor had finished examining him and had just left.
"Yeah. Not even a scratch." Richard کہا smiling happily at his girlfriend. Girlfriend, he liked the sound of that.
"You know, that's twice now." Rachel said, walking closer to him.
Richard frowned "What?"
"That آپ end up in the hospital and that I worry about your well-being." she answered, avoiding his gaze.
"Hey. I'm sorry." He said, taking one of her hands in his. "You're not going to lose me. Ever."
Rachel's head snapped up. She didn't expect him to say this and she had expected it to terrify her but oddly it didn't. Not saying another word, she leaned آگے and gently kissed his lips.
"I'll hold آپ to that." Rachel said, after breaking the kiss.
"Good." Richard replied, and Rachel saw in his eyes how much he meant it.
When Ian saw Maria walk up to Paul, he knew something was wrong.
"Paul, Maria is here." He said, resting a hand on his brother's shoulder.
Paul immediately got up and walked towards her.
"Do آپ know where Celine is?" Paul asked immediately, knowing how close the two girls were.
"I- She's in room 205. But- Paul!"
As soon as he heard the room number, he rushed through the hallways, Maria and Ian running after him. When he finally arrived in front of her room, Darren, ہولی and Fatemeh were gathered and talking quietly. They stopped as soon as he arrived.
"Where is she? Is she okay?" Paul asked, panicking as he saw the look on their faces.
"She's in there." ہولی said, gesturing towards the door behind him. "But she's... she's in a coma and the doctors don't know when she'll regain consciousness... I'm really sorry."
"A coma? How-" Ian کہا but stopped talking when Paul opened the door and entered the room.
There she was, on the bed. If she wasn't tubed and monitored, he could almost believe she was just sleeping. Seeing her like this, and the fact that he couldn't do anything to help her got the best of him and he started crying. He reached for her hand and hold it as tightly as he could, hoping that somehow she knew he was there for her.
