Amber, the oldest Braverman grandchild, is rebellious, willful, not very studious, and is desperately seeking some directional in life. In the first episode she is forced to leave her home and move in with her grandparents causing her to be rebellious. However, after being influenced by her grandparents she begins to get on the right track, but when she things don’t go as planned she once again goes down a dark path and almost loses her life. This forces Amber to grow up and start taking life more seriously. She eventually moves out and becomes more independent and starts to get her life on track. By the end of the show she has a solid family, job, and is moving forward in life.
