The only time this has ever happened has happened on the Internet (obviously, everything happens on the Internet). I mentioned I was gender fluid on global of clash of clans once and a guy kept telling me to kill myself. But I just texted about it to my friend and we made fun of him a bit.

That's the only incident that I can recall. I've grown up in a really pro-LGBT+ community so ive never really gotten any hate offline.

^Yikes, it's horrible what some people will do online. Glad to hear things are much better for you in your real life environment though!

I'm not sure if I've ever really gotten hate as such, it's mostly just confusion (and sometimes denial) I tend to get for being on the asexual spectrum. I have family members who think that your sexual orientation and romantic orientation have to match, and because mine don't it's hard for them to comprehend that. I've also had the whole "you just haven't met the right person yet" speech way too many times. XD

Nothing serious, thankfully, just confused people to deal with!

No, mostly because only my sister knows that I'm LGBT. Plus some Facebook friends, that's really about it.

My father and stepmother have called my orientation a "lifestyle choice" that they don't necessarily condone, but they love me regardless.

Their actual hatred is aimed towards the person I'm in a relationship with - a trans person. They called it "messed up," and that my partner has serious issues. It's "unnatural" and goes against God's intentions - those words stemmed from my father, a born again Christian. I never dreamed that he'd say something so hateful, I've been beating myself up for not seeing it coming.

It's more or less that certain people are in perpetual denial when I say I don't want sex or kids.

Not really. All of my friends are either LGBT+ or support it. Mostly it's just little kids who don't understand.
