​One Direction have been looking towards 2016 (away from THAT hiatus, of course) and sharing their New Year\'s resolutions at KIIS FM\'s Jingle Ball - none of which include spending quality time with us and a fridge full of cheese, sadly - with the fandom getting right behind Liam Payne as he vows to give up smoking.

While we\'re merely going to try and a) fall over less, b) eat less cheese and c) spend less time on Tumblr in the New Year (somebody help us), the boys have got bigger ideas for changes they\'d like to make in 2016.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Liam revealed: "I\'m going to try and give up smoking, which is hard, but I do want to. I want to. It\'s about time. Need to grow up now." 

Not only has Big Payno got our full support, but he\'s also got the backing of the entire fandom who have been trending #YouCanDoItLiam to show that they\'re right behind him. WE BELIEVE IN YOU, BIG P.

He\'s not the only one with big goals though, with Nialler explaining: "I\'m going to train, succeed in the gym this year. I always do it when I\'m on tour and then when I get home, I\'m crap. Yeah, I would like to succeed properly and get the job done."

Louis, meanwhile, has apparently joined Dragon\'s Den, saying he\'s \'out\' because he never sticks to his resolutions (why are we now imagining Lou being all authoritative on Dragon\'s Den? Oh Christ, please send help), while Harold reckons it\'s \'too early\' to be thinking ahead to 2016.
