I'm not sure, overall. In the mythology, he seemed to rather like the children he had: the three monster ones and the two normal ones. I couldn't say if he would make a good father or not - he has so many established personalities now. His Marvel one, his mythology one...

I'm not sure. In the comics (from what I understand), he's not a very good father at all. In the movie, I think Sleipnir is the only kid he has (I'm assuming he had Sleipnir, since Slepinir is in the movie, but they might have changed that). Pre-Avengers/Pre-Thor movie Loki I'd say wouldn't be too bad. Post-Avengers movie Loki... probably not a very good dad at all. And, like Nordic pointed out, he's a pretty good dad in the mythologies.
