My suspicion: He had been 'leading her on' and SHE SAW آپ AS A RIVAL BECAUSE HE HAD MADE IT A RIVALRY SITUATION. Quite likely, he was 'two-timing' آپ with her, and her with you. Often, this sort of person 'gets a kick' out of having two girlfriends at once and setting up situations where the two clash against each other. I'm grateful he's now an EX, because this sort of character is NOT WORTH IT.
