A Strange Way to Fall in Love Chapter Seventeen
I was going to stay at the ساحل سمندر, بیچ a little longer. I wanted to sit out here and think in peacefulness of the ocean. It was nice to be out here سے طرف کی myself. "Hey Kyle," Lola said, "whatcha still doing here?"
"Just thinking," I said.
"They must be pretty important! آپ have been sitting here for a while," she stated, "trying to think if آپ should put a ring on your girlfriend's finger?"
Lola started laughing after what she just said.
"No, not that! I have been way too busy to date," I کہا laughing a little.

"Once," I said, "but nothing serious!"
"Oh neat," she کہا as I looked her oddly, "well, not neat! But, that is good آپ did not get hurt too bad!"
"Yeah, I like my job; I think I will keep it," I کہا smiling, "but what are آپ still doing here?"
"I was taking a walk on the beach," she said, "I love this place. It's like I belong here!"
"That's good that آپ have something آپ love," I said.
"Why are آپ still in your uniform," she asked curiously.
"I have not gotten a chance to change out of it," I said, "I wear this uniform everyday that I forget to change out of it when I come back home!"
"That is funny," she کہا laughing.
"So, what have آپ been up to all these years I have been gone," I asked.
"Eh, آپ know most of it," she shrugged, "basically fighting for my life and putting those people in jail."
"I am sorry," I said, "I wish I could have been here and that would have never happened!"
"It would have happened if آپ were here," she stated, "it's whatever now! Do آپ ever have nightmares about your job یا whatever آپ call it?"
"Sometimes, but not very much," I stated, "do آپ every have nightmares about everything that has happened to you?"
"Honestly," she کہا as she looked over me, "every night. I try and stay up as long as possible and wake up as early as possible. I relive everything that has every happened to me every night."
"Does it still scare you," I asked curiously.
"Every time, آپ think after living it once and dreaming about for سال یا so, آپ would know what is coming. But, I don't," she said.
"Have آپ told Horatio," I asked.
"No, I have not," Lola said, "and I am not going too! Him and everyone else at his department have tried to get me to talk to anyone about everything. But, I do not need someone telling me how to get rid of nightmares. Besides, it probably would not help at all!"
"Oh," I said.
"Don't strain your voice too much," she کہا laughing.
"Sorry, I just keep thinking what if," I stated.
"It is the past," she کہا as she paused, "it is a, whatever?"
"Okay," I کہا with a bit of laughter.
"Are آپ going back over seas یا are آپ here for good," Lola asked.
"I am not sure," I stated, "I think I need to do a couple of مزید tours. The army is all I know! I know Mark will try and get a job on base in the states. On the count that he is going to get married soon!"
"Is he your age," she asked curiously.
"Yep," I said.

"Lola," someone called out.
"Seriously," she groaned, "I guess Horatio has sent out a crew to come find me!"
"Why would he do that," I asked confused.
"Because, he thinks I am suicidal! And I promise I am not," Lola said, "I have good job coming my way! I have been adopted سے طرف کی someone who should have adopted me a long time ago! But better late then never!"
