7:37 P.M. Not really a good time for a girl to sleep.
Why? There's multiple جوابات to that. One: When the love of your life leaves آپ with a robotic bird kid that will do everything to get your love, you're kind of stressed out. Two: After waking up at twelve that دن anyways, آپ could probably do with going to sleep at 10:00 P.M., right? And three: I barely get sleep anyways. So آپ can probably understand why I got up, made myself some coffee, and sat in the باورچی خانے, باورچی خانہ for no apparent reason in my bath robe. (Yeah, I 'borrowed' it. From Wallmart.)
I thought of the following in this order:
1)Dylan
2)Angel
3)Saving the world - yippee.
4)Flock
5)... Fang ....
Dylan is nice and all, but he's just a BIT pushy, آپ know? And he just isn't right for me. So there's a big no-no with dating. یا liking.
Angel was either dead یا kidnapped. No, I refused to believe she was dead. My baby wasn't dead. It wasn't possible.
Saving the world? If I was proud, I'd be like, 'Puh-lease! I can do that with one wing tied behind my back.' But I'm not proud. I was scared and uncertain.
The flock was difficult to manage at the moment. They seemed to think I'd start breaking down یا something if they کہا something wrong. Come on, I'm not a SOFTIE!
Fang ... Fang was-and is- my life. I needed him back. If he didn't ... oh, I was after him. And I would beat him up. THEN I would love him.
"Max? I thought آپ would be sleeping. It's 11:24." Gazzy walked in, his slightly too big Transformer PJ's loose on him. And will آپ look at that- it WAS 11:24. How time could fly. Literally. (Get it? Fly? Nevermind.)
"Honey, آپ know I don't sleep much. In fact, آپ should be sleeping right now."
"I couldn't sleep," He protested.
"Well, why don't آپ sit out on the porch a little? I'll be right there to شامل میں آپ in a second," I suggested. He padded out of the room. Ah, young kids. Gotta love them.
Yeah, we were at my mom's house. Just to let آپ know.
"What the h-? Max! Max, hurry, come here!" Gazzy yelled, a terrified note in his voice. I was immediately. on both feet. It's a habit, آپ know?
I raced outside. "What? What is it?"
Quick check: Gazzy in one piece, no blood on him, no Eraser with gun.
"Look! Look!" Gazzy cried, pointing to the ground near a بش about three yards away from the porch.
I stepped closer and peered at whatever it was. And gasped, retreating.
Fang, blood going from his head and neck.
And he wasn't looking too good, life-to-death wise.
