How did آپ think Merlin's magic would be revealed?

I thought that it would either be سے طرف کی accident and noone would believe it, until Merlin broke and spilled the beans, یا it would be in a massive fight, like there have been in the past. Merlin has had to use his magic quite obviously in the past, and I'm surprised that noone noticed before (though I think that Gwaine secretly knew) xx
