I'd be curious to hear the reasoning from the person(s) who choose/chose Voldemort.

JaLanaE- Darth Vader is the Sith Lord who over sees the Galactic Empire. He was once Anakin Skywalker a renowned Jedi thought to bring peace and justice to the galaxy. But after marrying is love Senator Padme Amidala and impregnating her with twins he became worried he would lose her in childbirth. So he consulted the Chancellor of the Senate, who was long over his term, and acted very peculiar and said there is a way to save your wife " But Not as a Jedi" he eventually gave in to the Dark side and Became Darth Vader. His Jedi Master Obi-Wan then had no choice but to try and kill him. He almost did so on the lava pit of the Mustafar system. Padme gave birth to Luke and Leia Skywalker and died anyway. Years later Luke found his father and turned him back eventually with the help of his sister and Han Solo. = That is the story in a brief nutshell.

It was done horribly in episodes I-III, but Vader's story is much more tragic, which makes him the more fogivable character. He did redeem himself eventually as well, whereas Voldermort seemed to almost be born evil and never looked back once he turned.

I personally have never had the need to watch any of the star wars movies. But i am a Harry Potter fan and i knew it couldnt be Voldermort just b/ Voldermort tried and succeded to kill babies, children, teens, adults and old people! Who could evr hurt and old person?! their like babies who talk and dont poop in their pants (most of the time) Their so cute! sry totally off topic

yes, Voldemort even split his soul in _ differnt ways. I wont tell, in case people want to find out. But Vader was seduced and redeemed himself.

But i also think that darth vadar/anakin could be redeemed in the first place because he had experienced love, compassion from people in his life: mother, padme, obi-wan and later his son luke and somewhat leia; which there was always still "Good" in darth vadar/anakin it was just supressed...while voldemort he reminded me abit of Damien from the omen...and that he was never shown any love, but he rejected it, in my opinion it be a different matter of opinion if his mother survived childbirth and raised him with love, maybe voldemort/tom riddle maybe be another darth vadar/anakin fall to the darkside and be redeemed later in life...who knows? but i liked how their respective stories played out..two brilliant characters :)
