Is it just me, or do all of the good bands have concerts at the same time? By this I mean this winter has been so slow for me concert-wise. Literally no one I wanted to see was even touring. And suddenly in the last two weeks all of the bands on my to-see-live list popped up. Legit six bands I like are touring right now. And they're not even weeks apart either; the concerts are all within days of each other. In fact one band is having their very first North American tour.

So many bands I like decided to go on tour that I actually had to pick and choose this time lol because there were so many. Like where were you all in December???

Not just you. This happens to me all the time in the spring/summer months. All the musicians/bands I like are on tour at the same time, and I have to pick and choose which shows I most want to go to since I'm too broke to get tickets for all.

I'm guessing it has something to do with when the albums were released, which has something to do with consumer buying patterns. Or maybe the people planning tours know that crowd turnout is higher in the warmer months (because kids are off from school)? Hmm. I wonder.

For me it's usually in the fall and spring. Winter is usually slow. And same here, too broke to get every concert ticket that I want. I'm just grateful that I get to go to a few.

The crazy thing is (at least in my case) it seems like it has nothing to do with the albums. One band released their newest album last year. Another one of the bands hasn't released one since 2013! And finally one of the bands has had an album out since last hear but has actually been in my area more than once last year and once this year. So it's really odd.
My guess is maybe the consumer patterns? But that's also a little odd because one band is having their very first North American tour and one hasn't toured here for a long long time.
The warmer theory also makes sense.
