Mick & Doug rented a بیڈ, فلاٹباد truck to pull their racecar out of the pool, and then they decided to drive the truck the rest of the way to Connecticut. They were close to the starting point in Darien, when a silver sedan cut them off.

Mick: *Honks the horn as he stops* Whut da hell is dat guy's problem?
Doug: He probably thinks he can cut others off simply cuz he drives one of them foreign cars.
Mick: Yeah, they always drive like assholes.
Donald: *Driving his silver sedan* Eh, I can't believe he almost hit us like that.
Geena: Well, آپ did run a stop sign-
Donald: I don't care!! Something's not right. There's been a bunch of high performance cars going through our town, and I intend to stop them!
Geena: They haven't done anything wrong.
Donald: But they're going to! You're helping me whether آپ want to یا not!

The yellow pegasus was concerned for her brother. He was the one causing trouble, but in his mind, the ponies gathering around to start their race were in the wrong.

A few hours passed, and it was dark. All the race contestants were enjoying a nice رات کے کھانے, شام کا کھانا in The Country Club of Darien, and موسیقی was being played for those who wanted to dance.

Apyr: Not bad, eh?

JJ: *Sitting with Victor. They're both eating steak*
Victor: Good, right?
JJ: Yeah.
Victor: Your uniform fitting okay?
JJ: Yeah.
Victor: Good. We won't be behind any of those ponies when we floor it with our sirens on.
JJ: Now we just need a patient.
Victor: A patient?!
JJ: What if we get pulled over, and they see we don't have a patient?
Victor: You're right. We also need a doctor. Go see if آپ can find a doctor. I'll find us a patient.
JJ: Right! *Runs from the table*
Victor: *Walks around the room*
JJ: *Goes to Sergi, and Apyr* Hey, either of آپ a doctor?
Apyr: Nyet.
Sergi: We're racers.
JJ: Sorry.
Victor: *Sees a blue, and گلابی mare* Hello, who are آپ gorgeous girls?
Linda: I'm Linda.
Lola: And I'm Lola.
Victor: Wow, you're gorgeous. Any chance I can get آپ to be a patient in my ambulance? I'm taking part in the Cannonball Run.
Linda: No kidding.
Lola: So are we.
Victor: Oh. آپ don't say.
Linda: We're running a brand new Pearla.
Victor: I thought Chevronet discontinued that.
Lola: They did, but it's back.
Linda: And we're gonna prove electricity is better.
Victor: آپ have fun with that. *Walks away*

After that, he accidentally bumped into a yellow pegasus with a گلابی mane.

Geena: Oh! *Drops her drink*
Victor: Oh no, I didn't mean to do that.
Geena: No, please. It was my fault.
Victor: No it's not. I didn't see where I was going. Here, come with me, and I'll get آپ another drink.

They walked to the bar, and as they arrived, Victor thought Geena looked beautiful.

Victor: Get this lady a refill on whatever she ordered earlier.
Geena: A water.
Bartender: Right away ma'am. Anything for آپ sir?
Victor: Just a ginger ale.
Bartender: Sure. *Goes to get the drinks*
Victor: Say, are آپ feeling fine?
Geena: Uh, I think so.
Victor: Are آپ sure? I have an ambulance, maybe I should take آپ for a ride.

JJ was still searching for a doctor.

JJ: *Goes to Mick & Doug* Hey, either of آپ doctors?
Mick: Are آپ kiddin'?
Doug: Y'all don't want us as doctors boy, we'd probably open the victim's skull سے طرف کی accident, and have the brains scattered everywhere.
JJ: Uh. *His face turns green* Thanks anyway. *Runs away*

As Mick & Doug continued eating their food, they didn't notice another pair of ponies walk past.

Bubba: آپ know it's just amazing to me that I came here to race in something other than Nascar, and yet I'm seeing a few other contestants from that sport.
Drake: Not to mention, one of your cars from when آپ raced with Richard Petty.
Bubba: Yeah, that's just so weird.
Drake: Let's not worry too much about it. The truck has new tires, new suspension, and we'll be able to lose everypony once we go off roading out on the dirt.
Bubba: And nopony knows I'm here.
Drake: Not even your wife. You're gonna be fine.


Back to Victor & Geena, who are now sitting at Victor's table.

Geena: I'm not that interested in racing to tell آپ the truth.
Victor: Well what are آپ interested in?
Geena: Nature mostly. آپ ever like spending time around trees?
Victor: Well I haven't honestly thought much about it.
Geena: Well they are good for the environment. And it's lovely to hear all the birds that sit on the branches, and sing their songs. I even know a poem about trees.
Victor: آپ do?
Geena: *Nods*
Victor: Well listen. Thanks for the drink. If آپ ever change your mind, feel free to bump into me again.
Geena: Okay. *Walks away*
Victor: *Checks his watch* Where is JJ?
