I really feel like Regina's hatred of Emma just comes from her fear of losing Henry to her, and maybe because she is Snow's daughter. I dont really see that she has much hatred of Emma as a person.

Regina doesn't really love Henry. If she loved him she would look for his happiness first, then for hers.


But all selfish Regina want is for her to be happy. She wants Henry just like she would want an object (just like she wanted Graham!) and SHE WOULD DO ANYTHING to keep him, INCLUDING KEEPING HIM away FROM HIS MOTHER -> when it is clear that this makes him unhappy.


Regina delusions herself into believing she loves Henry. maybe it makes her feel less of a monster for killing old Henry..

Killing a woman whose death will break your adoptive son's heart... without caring about his suffering -> equals a lot of hate for that woman (a.k.a. Emma ) or no love whatsoever for your child..

Killing a woman so she wouldn't take your child shows a lot of love for a child. She'd go pretty far to keep the kid she loved.

What show have you watched?! EMMA WAS WILLING TO GET OUT OF TOWN! SHE WAS GOING TO LEAVE HENRY WITH REGINA!!! because Emma truly loves the kid and she wanted him FIRST to be happy... even if that would mean giving him up!

And even if she was going to stay, killing her would still have been wrong. Regina claims to love Henry, but everything she keeps doing only ends up hurting him in one way or another.

Well in the version I watched, I swear Emma mentioned that the more Regina tried to push her out the longer she wanted to stay. I also swear when she left town she kidnapped Henry and bought him with her.

But in the end she was going to leave (without Henry), but even if she had stayed, that wouldn't have justified Regina giving her the apple turnover.

I swear she had Henry in the car and he had to convince her to stay. Never said it was justified, but it does prove how far Gina would go to keep Henry, because she loves him so much.

Emma renounced at Henry for his own happiness!! And Regina still tried to kill her!
Regina doesn't truly love Henry, she would never give him up to Emma because THIS is what makes him happy.

The fact that she still wanted to kill Emma...even though Henry was going to stay with her, proves her hatred is ABOVE EVERYTHING!

I feel that Regina thinks she loves Henry, but has gone so far into her bubble of darkness that hatred will always be the emotion she trusts and acts upon, however ur free to disagree
