Zayn Malik is leaving One Direction’s world tour

Directioners the world over have been left hysterical this morning with the news that brooding babe, Zayn Malik has pulled out of the band’s ‘On the Road Again’ tour.

"Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the U.K. to recuperate," the group\'s publicist told the Associated Press on Thursday. Adding that the show will go on as the rest of One Direction will continue with the next two dates in the Philippines and Indonesia as planned.

The news comes the same week as rumours were circulating that Zayn had cheated on fiancé and Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards, after pictures were published showing him (allegedly) holding hands with a girl while on holiday in Thailand. In true celebrity style, Zayn used Twitter and angry swear words to deny the rumours:

But that isn’t the only dramz on the 1D tour. It turns out both Louis and Zayn have the eyes of anti-drugs groups watching them.

reports that the two band members were required to pay over $6,500 before entering the Philippines because of their reported history of marijuana usage. A video of the two supposedly smoking leaked online in 2014, and officials are said to be worried that they will be bad influences on young Filipino kids.  

"We want to see their pure, raw, untainted talent," said Christine Ching, a spokesperson for the Anti-Drugs Advocate group, adding that the concert producers have been cooperative by offering to give the organization access passes so they can monitor 1D during their stay.

They will not get their bonds back if they are caught "using or impliedly promoting illegal drugs" while in Manila. What officials failed to bear in mind is that $6,500 is like pocket change to these kids. Sigh.
