They've had their fair share of drama, and I am personally enjoying their current drama-free state.

And those rumors about James Lafferty getting out the show must be a lie. Mark loves Naley, he said so many times. He's very happy with James and Joy, he said once that it's very rare to capture such a chemistry with two actores, and that happened with Naley.
Only an idiot would give that away. =)

well i think that nathan as a character has always been kinda boring...i loved haley in season one but after naley got married haley changed i don't know...i think they are the more boring characters on the show...and now that there is jamie they are even more boring...i mean at least the scenes with nate and q were good...about the only conversations of any interest that nathan has were with q

if Naley wasn't even in the show anymore... i wouldn't mind that at all lol. i honestly doubt i would even really notice if they were gone. yeah they're happy and in love, blah blah blah... but you can be in love and drama free, and still be entertaining. and to me, Naley definitely isn't entertaining. there are ways of being in love and happy, without acting like a 60 year old married couple, when you're really only supposed to be 22. they seriously put me to sleep.

and on top of that, i feel like they just don't fit well together at all. i feel like they are two TOTALLY different people, and Haley is constantly trying to change Nathan... and doesn't allow him to be who he really is. i feel like Nathan has had to compromise SO much of who he really is, in order to get approval from Haley, and that's not right to me. i don't know... Naley has always just driven be nuts lol. they're boring, CHEESY, and don't fit well together at all. but that's just MY opinion...

Yeah they are two totally different people, but as they said in 3.19, just because they have differences doesn't mean those differences define what love truly is. And I'll admit, they are boring, but that doesn't mean they aren't right for eachother.
Haley is NOT trying to "constanly change nathan" she is trying to better him... make sure he's the best he can be. If there weren't any Haley we would still have Season 1 Nathan... and I know everyone can agree thats not cool.
And they are cheesy, and unrealistic, but can you honestly say leyton aren't cheesy??
I understand you don't like them, but this is just my opinion :)

Ok well I think Naley are boring....I've always found Nathan to be the most boring one on the show and Haley is pretty boring too....However even with that being said...I'd say that Naley definitely belong together...Haley doesn't "constantly try to change" Nathan...she helps him be a better person...he needs it...and she's succeeded in doing so as nathan is a much much better person than he was in the beginning of the show.

and besides Nathan WANTS to be a better person FOR her NOT BECAUSE of her...you can't change someone that doens't want the help...i've never been a big fan of naley...but they belong with each other.

Naley is my favorite couple (usually) and I see how people can say they are boring, especially now since they are older and have been married awhile. But there have been some unboring naley scenes this season. And nathan has said he has wanted to be better for haley. "I wanna be somebody who's good enough to be seen with you" ring any bells?!

well def they belong together!!!like in first 4 seasons they had more exiting storyline but 5th and 6th is worser.i hope they will have this season something new

and i dont find Haley that boring Nathan yes he is kinda boring when he was badass he was a little exiting but still an ass..And Haleys is amazing actress

i'm sorry i still just see Haley as always trying to change him. she even said so herself, in one of the episodes in season 5... when they had the engagement party for Lucas and Lindsey at their house. Haley said something to Nathan along the lines of she realized that she's been trying to change who he is, and that she was "done trying". yeah Nathan may WANT to be a better person, but i think there are ways of Haley helping him better himself, rather than totally changing who he is. and yes i have heard of "opposites attract"... but that's just it... they AREN'T opposites anymore, because Haley won't allow them to be opposites. i know they were opposites when they first started dating, but Haley has totally altered Nathan since then.

i've just always gotten the vibe from Haley that she has always thought she was better than everyone else, or superior in a way... and she acts like everyone needs to earn her approval or something. everyone always talks about how she "helps" people all the time... but i feel like she judges people more than anything. she can never just let people be who they are, or do what they want to do... she always has to put her two cents in, even when it's not asked of her. i don't know... if you're a fan of Haley or Naley then great, i've just never been able to get into their individual characters, or them as a couple.

and 1treehillfan.... to me, there is absolutely no comparisson between Naley's cheesiness and Leyton's cheesiness. sure i'll be the first to admit that Leyton has had a FEW cheesy moments, just like every tv couple does. but Naley is just NON-stop cheesy... they take cheesiness to a whole other level in my opinion

I'm sorry that Naley doesn't cheat on each other and they don't change their minds CONSTANTLY about who it actually is that they love!!!! If that makes the "boring" then HELL who wants exciting. This is my last comment cause I'm not gonna even respond to any more crap about why I'm wrong!

lol chill mcewen_girl, some of us DO have the right to think that Naley is boring... they don't HAVE to be this end all, be all, perfect couple to ALL of us. yeah they obviously love eachother, but that doesn't change the fact that they still ARE boring to some of us. and we have every right to think it without "hearing crap about why WE'RE wrong" from you. just calm down, this is just everyone's opinion which we all are entitled to, without our ships being insulted in return. this pick was about Naley, so ofcourse people are going to respond with their opinions about Naley. that's no reason to drag insults about other ships into the topic just because you don't like, or don't agree with what some of us are saying, that's just immature

the show has turned in to a lucas-woman drama thing! and the two characters this show is about is lucas AND nathan. not JUST lucas! what is going on with mark and his ideas? :o GIVE NALEY MORE SCENES TOGETHER NOW!

in all fairness though kristine95, i think Lucas has always been the MAIN character in the show, i don't think that role is supposed to be shared between him and Nathan. yeah Nathan is important too (just like the rest of the core 5)... but ever since the pilot, i think the show has been centered around Lucas. it wasn't Nathan that was doing the voiceovers at the beginning and end of every episode in seasons 1-4, it was Lucas... like the story was being told through his eyes. i don't know, that's just the way i see it, i've always thought of Lucas as the main character

OMG! They're the best couple on the show! They had their drama and they're the only couple who hasn't been with anybody else from the first to the last season!!!!

Yeah well either way you know you would act the same way if this pick was about Leyton or that you have acted this way when it was said about LP! We are all protective of our fav couples and I'm not gonna apologize for that so I'm done arguing!

First of all, I don't intend to insulte any ship/character (and I hate OTH fans fights)
I just don't like Naley as I used to. And it's not just 'cause they got married, 'cause my fav TV character (Monica and Chandler from Friends) got married and I still love them. But it seems that nothing happens to Naley and when it does it always involves Jamie. I know, I know, he's their child, but still they have to have a life as a couple not just as parents. They're not boring, they're just not excited any more. Just to be clear, I still like them

it's not because the lack of drama. It's simply because i miss those scenes that they used to have that just made you say "WOW, THAT WAS AMAZINGLY SWEET" and "WOW, WHAT A MOMENT" i feel like it is more Nathan/Jamie, Haley/Jamie, Jamie/Jamie, JAMIE JAMIE JAMIE JAMIE JAMIE ETC! but i get it, that's what happens when you have a kid, but i rarely find those SWEET, AMAZING, HEART-MELTING NALEY MOMENTS anymore, and i miss those.

Seriously, i used to be a DIE-HARD NALEY fan, but when they stopped having those beautiful scenes, i started liking Leyton more and more. Now i can't get enough Leyton, and Naley (still love them) just aren't my favorite anymore. =(

I've always loved them, but now I'm more into Leyton because the Naley relationship is just a tad boring now.
