That´s why I can´t pick any of those answers. I think it was still very soon for her to forgive Peyton. She was still pretty mad at her. Probably she was feeling lonely and didn´t want to spend her birthday day alone. =P But still I don´t understand what she would tell Peyton if she had seen her at the mall without Lucas. She could either forgive her, or do nothing (meaning not even bother going to the mall).

Maybe she wanted to see if Peyton showed up, she might have came up to Peyton had she not seen Luke.

yeah, but even if Peyton was without Lucas, I still don´t think Brooke was ready to forgive her. Don´t forget in the last episode Brooke said horrible things to Peyton and slapped her. She was quite mad.

Yeah but then after talking to Rachel, she seemed to have a bit of a change of heart. I think that if Lucas hadn't been there/been with Peyton, it would have been different.

First of all, Brooke didn't even know Lucas and Peyton were gonna be at the mall, unless I missed something?? She mostly likely just showed up to shop lift on her own and that's when she saw them together.

Maybe....to bad she didn't realise that Peyton was trying to help her get back with Lucas =S
