Six weeks passed. Paula finally got the results of Diesel's DNA test. The results revealed that Diesel was a purebred German Shepherd. The results also revealed that he was clear for all genetic diseases. Paula immediately told Jane about it. Jane said, "That's so cool." Paula said, "I know." Later, Paula and Jane encountered Letty and Hillel. Hillel asked, "Did آپ get the results of Diesel's DNA test yet?" Paula said, "Yes. He is a purebred German Shepherd, and he is clear of all genetic diseases." Letty said, "That's wonderful." Paula said, "It is." Jane said, "He's a very unique German Shepherd. He's black with one white paw. He deviates from the standard a little." Hillel asked, "What do آپ mean?" She said, "I was just reading that according to the breed standard, a German Shepherd is not supposed to have white on its paws. A white blaze on the chest is permissible, but not preferred. Of course, that's not important." Paula said, "That's right. Diesel may not be a breed standard German Shepherd. He didn't come from a fancy breeder. He was a stray dog who came to me for help. He chose me, and I love him. That's what matters. Even if he was a mixed breed, I'd still love him, because he's my dog." She gave him a gentle pat on the head, and he licked her hand. Jane added, "And I love Shiloh, because she's my dog. The most important thing about owning a dog is that آپ love him یا her the way he یا she is."
