Can anyone reccommend me some good period films?

Out of films connected with Jane Austen I can recommend Emma 2009 and Sense and Sensibility 2008, and Miss Austen Regrets.
And I'd recommend North and South, Wives and Daughters, Cranford - all سے طرف کی Elizabeth Gaskell, The Young Victoria - a true story, Atonement and The Painted Veil. I forget something, I'm sure;)

I would recommend to watch Wuthering Heights,2009 یا another version. It's a quite good movie ;)

I highly recommand:
"The Barchester Chronicles" It is a 1982 British ویژن ٹیلی serial produced سے طرف کی the BBC. 7 episodes (400 min total) with a young Alan Rickman :D

I recently just watched 'The Young Victoria'. It stars Emily Blunt and *gasp* the person who plays Mr. Wickham in the 2005 Pride & Prejudice.

It is a movie about the young Queen Victoria, she talks a little at the beginning about how she discovered she would be queen, her family life, the دن she discovers she is now queen. Then it goes on to her marriage to Prince Albert.

A wonderful movie!
