Do آپ hate when people have bad Grammer/bad spelling?

Yes, It annoys me so much! But most people don't really care... But I still do though! I guess they are too lazy to bother with the intricacies and just wish to get things typed as soon as possible. Even though this sometimes leads to much confusion in some cases. There's a to how many mistakes آپ can make before the sentence becomes unrecognizably mangled and آپ need to type it again. And some do not realize this.

I like proper grammar, people must make a slight effort in typing. Well, that is if they are talking to me. I don't even really care, as long as it's legible. Not something like this "i wAzs aT tHeeE StohhRee" یا whatever it is that they might like to do. Honestly, doesn't it take longer to do that than just write the bloody word? Oh whatever, not my problem. And honestly, I don't know what's going on in their mind. Maybe it started out with people changing the spelling to make the words cuter "according to them" یا something that will made the word being pronounced سے طرف کی a baby. I'll say it's disgusting, weird and annoying. Sadly, I don't think it's cool. I hate people who think that most of the youth type/text like that. I say, ewww. Hell no way, I would type like that, it's just not gonna happen for me.

Some think it's a positive thing. I believe we should just teach people to type words correctly. I mean, sure, we could all use the shortcuts and "type lyk dis", but the "j3j3j3j3" which stands for "hehehehe" is simply weird. I don't know if I'm making sense. But, I don't care.

I don't think it's a bad thing, really, I just think it would be interesting to know how things have evolved to where they are now. If every written speech was formal.. It would be boring, now with alot of slang terms seems like آپ are talking to the person. And it's not only English, every language in the world, and it's not called bad grammar, it's called evolution. I admit that sometimes, when I type on the internet, I misspell things, but I don't even notice, because I usually try to type as fast as I can. (Mostly in chats) I'm usually multitasking, so I hardly pay attention to whether I'm using "than" rather than "then". It's not because I don't care, I really try to use proper grammar, but it's مزید of a convenience.

I usually am very careful about how I write things and correct myself if necessary. I don't like to correct others' grammar, though, since I think that's rude for anyone to do, regardless. Unless, of course, they ask for your help.

But it's the internet. Deal with it.

It might get on my nerves when I'm proofreading an essay for someone یا when I'm on a thread and someone misspells something, but if a person's grammar isn't too atrocious, I won't really care too much.

I'm not a grammar Nazi یا anything, but it is pretty ridiculous when آپ spell things LYKE DIS. Most of the words they use are سیکنڈ and third grade words, almost everyone should be able to spell them. Now if آپ make some typos every once in a while, that's okay. Nobody's perfect at spelling and typing can sometimes be a little difficult, especially if you're using the Internet on your phone. And there are some people from other countries who can't spell English words very well. But I find it depressing when people constantly misspell simple words, it's not rocket science. And why do people type with the ایوارڈز lock on, it's annoying and it seems like you're yelling.

Honestly I don't hate it when ppl have bad grammar یا spelling. But I do find it annoying sometimes.

What's wrong with آپ people always using the word Nazi in every non-fitting situation and then complaining about spelling mistakes when آپ don't even know the meaning of the word "Nazi"?

And yes it annoys me sometimes when someone spells something wrong but if he/she is not a Native Speaker I don't mind so much.

Well it depends sometimes people write horribly and I can't really read what they're saying ,but if it's not so much mistakes no it doesn't bother me.

I try to use my best dialogue, even on the internet.
When other people don't consider the annoyance they're bringing upon other users with extremely poor grammar and spelling, it irks the shit out of me.

what is there to hate about them? i mean no ofense but آپ can't judge a person سے طرف کی the way he/she spells. people are just who they are and it's nice to respect them that way. یا آپ can always help them spell. :)

I wouldn't say hate, but I would say morbidly despise.

I can handle simple things like not capitalizing sometimes and accidentally misspelling, but I can't stand when people do it ON BLOODY PURPOSE.

I don't understand why people can't at least try to be perfect...I'm far from it, but at least I try to be, it's giving your 100%. I just don't understand why people have to type like an illiterate, for me, it's just as easy typing "you" and the letter "U". I don't know how everyone else types, but it's clearly not difficult to at least try to type correctly.

Purposely typing like an idiot is just proof that آپ don't really have the respect to at least let people know what you're saying, and that آپ don't know how to type correctly, at least it seems to me. And people are being prideful now about being stupid...Pleasant.

No! I doesn't bother me at all... Maybe it's hard for a person to spell a word right because he/she doesn't know English good enough... But there's no reason for us to go all wild on them and insult them just for a low thing like "bad grammar". Why does it annoy you? If آپ can't read something, ignore it. Is it really too hard to do? No, and people shouldn't because most of the time, we see it online یا something, rather than in a professional place. If it's for college یا a scientific paper, then sure, grammar and spelling is important. But here, Fanpop, no. Here's the reason why: 1. It's a casual place. 2. Not everyone's native language is English. 3. Not everyone is educated well in English. 4. People make mistakes. We are not perfect. 5. Some people just have a style of typing. My frnd typ lik ds n it s werd...But if آپ understood that, there's not really a problem, huh? The purpose is to get your idea across and communicate.

If آپ can't read یا understand what a person wrote, then perhaps آپ should ask the person to clarify یا write a little nicer.

But there is something. If a person's native language isn't English, then آپ can correct the person if they want it. Just don't be an arse about it.

I mainly just feel bad for them.
