Who here has ever seen a band live? Is it ever any good?

I've never been to a کنسرٹ and have only listened to موسیقی via technology. There are bands that i adore, but i am not a social person and do not see the appeal of standing in a crowd of tall, loud people blocking my view of the دکھائیں and screaming too loud for me to hear any of the songs.
Are concerts actually مزید to it than that?

Lol here's me again, only دکھانا up on the Random spot to talk about music.

YES concerts are amazing, in my opinion.

The bands I've seen live are Mayday Parade, We Are The In Crowd, There For Tomorrow, New Found Glory, Fun, the Wonder Years, David Cook, Fireworks, Sparks the Rescue, the Downtown Fiction, 30 سیکنڈ to Mars, Lifehouse, Daughtry, Fairweather, Tonic, Cavo, the Dangerous Summer, and some other even less famous bands lol.

But yeah. I adore concerts مزید than anything else in the world (except the musicians in the bands). XP I'm not a social person either, believe me, but there's just something about being on the floor with a hundred other kids who feel exactly the same as آپ do. There's something about feeling the باس, گھنگھور in your دل and the drums in your stomach. It's not really about the social aspect, of talking to people, it's just about being there together. It's all about the موسیقی bringing everyone together. It's about how, on the floor, with the موسیقی blaring, it doesn't matter who آپ are, یا how much money آپ have, یا where you're from, یا what your grades are, یا what your past is یا where you're going یا anything. The focus is all on the band on the stage. It's just surreal, seeing your heroes up there having the time of their lives. آپ know that you're making their dreams come true the same as they make آپ smile every day.

Yeah sometimes it can be annoying when there are four mosh pits going at once and everyone's pushing back and forth and left and right, but if آپ don't like that آپ can find a spot off to the side and جام out in your own corner. And believe me, the موسیقی is so loud that no matter how many people are screaming آپ can always hear the band. If آپ sing along on the سب, سب سے اوپر of your lungs, آپ can hardly hear yourself.xD

But the people... Even if آپ think آپ won't like the people, آپ just might end up making some new دوستوں anyway. I'm one antisocial fucker and I've made مزید دوستوں at shows than at school, okay? All the people at shows would be as passionate about موسیقی as آپ would be, you'd have something major in common and it's easy to talk to people. Everyone's so easy going at shows. Of course, I don't really know about the Marilyn Manson type kids (just using that because according to your پروفائل آپ like them), but I'm into pop-punk and the kids are ٹھنڈے, کولر than آپ can imagine. Everyone's so nice and connected and it's just sweet. Like at one دکھائیں I went to in October, when the security guys passed around water bottles everyone shared (the guys were so chivalrous, omg). At one I went to last month, everyone was older than me and I was asked multiple times if A.) I wanted help crowd surfing and B.) if I was okay. It was nice. xD The people really are sweet though, all of them.

And looking at the bands you're in to, Three Days Grace and that kind of music, those would be fun shows. آپ should give it a go. آپ have nothing to lose and a lot to potentially gain. ;)

The MCR/Blink tour last year? If that's the one you're talking about, I've heard it was overhyped actually, that all the kids were so drunk that it wasn't even worth going, and people were going at it in the back rows. Lol ignore me if that's not what آپ meant though. xD Evanescence would be sweet live though. ^_^
