Why is Chips ahoy called "Chips ahoy"

Go to the company website. I'm guessing they have the جوابات آپ need.
Personally, I don't give a damn. I just love to eat them.

When they say chips, they mean the chocolate chips in the cookies. Pirates used to say "Ship ahoy" when they saw a ship یا say "Ships ahoy" when they saw a number of ships. So because 'Chips' rhymes with 'Ships' and because they are trying to say that there are visibly many chocolate chips in the cookie, they called them 'Chips Ahoy'.

It's a freakin' brand name, who needs to contemplate it...also the little pieces of chocolate in them are called chips.

Because aliens.

They have chocolate chips in them.
