Yes. Apples from the Shinigami Realm look like shriveled green peppers and do not look like normal apples at all. Misa gave a juicy human سیب, ایپل to Ryuk and in return he lets Misa have a bite of an سیب, ایپل from the Shingami realm. Misa took a bite of the سیب, ایپل and spit it out in disgust saying that it “tastes like sand”, so I would say that they love apples from the human realm. :)
