How would آپ feel if your BF sold his car for your engagement ring?

I was thinking about proposing to my girlfriend mid Jan. I am a حالیہ college graduate and have spent all of my money on an extra and impractical sports car. The car is worth about 15,000, it is a modified Rx7. I daily drive my 1999 Honda Accord and am thinking about selling my extra car to purchase about a 7,000-9,000 dollar ring for my future fiancé and putting the rest of the cash in our savings account. I am beginning to think that I am going over-board with her engagement ring situation.

How would آپ feel if your boyfriend did this for you? Is it a good gesture یا would آپ think that he sacrificed to much? I been building the car for 2 years.
