Please Help! Does Anyone Know of.....

An animated movie that the main character was a مالٹا, نارنگی haired Jewish boy and he had a pet donkey. I can remember how the movie looked but do not remember the name! I cannot even look it up on Google! T.T It was an old movie, I was born in 1996 so I'm guessing the movie was made in the 90s. Please help! >_>
