How is the way of slicing zucchini squash for it's best Yummie Taste?

I grew these zuchinni squash. They were hiding ! I slice them with onions and put it on سب, سب سے اوپر of the stove. After it's cooked I sprinkle on parmesan cheese.But nathing Yell Delicious as the Food book says Hussssh?
