Why do آپ think gum is not allowed in school??? :S

Well I've been done with school for 3 years now but when I was in high school {and middle school & elementary school} it was usually the same thing:

Some teachers didn't care if آپ chewed gum in class as long as آپ weren't obnoxious about it - chewing really loud یا blowing big bubbles.

And then there were the teachers that would just make آپ spit it out if they caught آپ chewing it.

And there were also a few that were fucking ridiculous and would try to give آپ detention یا some other kind of punishment...

I think a lot of teachers view it as being rude but I've never understood the big deal about it.

Our teachers let us chew gum, as long as the principal doesn't see it. We get to do a lot of things that shouldn't be let done, as long as the principal doesn't see it. Our school is amazing like that!

Cause teachers are fake... and gay.

Maybe it's coz a lot students like to stuck chewed gums anywhere and everywhere, and they're pissed off?

We are aloud to have gum in class...

What I've heard was the reason they don't allow gum chewing is because most kids will either stick it under their desks, یا somewhere where the gum doesn't belong, then someone will come along and stick their hand in it. Something else I've heard is that when kids chew gum at school they normally just spit it out wherever یا they put it under something and that's vandalism. That stuff was told to me be a prenciple.

Not like any rule against gum chewing stops kids though. Lol, so I don't know why they won't just do away with that rule. It's not like teachers and whoever don't know they're chewing.

Gum is allowed in my school, just not in my English and Choir (and probably not in my Family and Consumer class because that would be kind of gross since we cook and stuff, also I prefer not to chew gum in PE so I won't choke.) But we can't listen to our ipods یا have our cellphones (I don't have a cellphone anyway) out.

1. the students stick it to the bottom of the desks( ewww )2. the teacher think it a pain to get out of the carpets ( but they dont even have to clean them thats just what my techer says )3. they find it really annoying 4. they chew it just to make آپ mad cause they want to piss u off and make u jealous

People wont throw there gum away. They just stick it to stuff and it's really gross. Teachers probably think it's disgusting.

We are aloud to have gum in class, I didnt even know that some schools wernt allowed to have gum.

I♥5 gummm:] its what I chew. Did آپ know آپ can peel apart the foil from the papaer on 5 gum and آپ can stick the foil to stuff. I chew the gum in class and then i spend the rest of the class peeling the wrapper and sticking it to my binder:P yo should see my binder its sick:]]

Well, i really hate that alot of people cant chew gumm in school, but wheni asked a teacher, she کہا that some student apparently dont know how to chew gum, since the open their mouths to speak and it falls out..and then she stepps in it..I find that a good reson to not allow gum..but i find it unfair teachers get to chew it when students dont.

Some teachers allow it, but it's mostly not allowed because people stick it under desks and stuff. Also, teachers get annoyed when people chew gum loudly, یا blow bubbles. Although not everyone does that, some people do so that's why they don't allow anyone to chew gum.

Its because they want آپ to have to stick it under the میز, جدول when آپ don't wanna get caught and then the teachers scrape it off and eat it later lol

Well, I don't have an exact reason, but what I know is that me Biology teacher always that see us chewing gum, she says that it's bad for the stomach, why? It's simple: when آپ chew gum آپ produce too much saliva and that آپ نگلنا it, it makes the stomach work for nothing and all the gastric juices make a bad thin in the stomach because they are not used on foood, they're used in notheing and go to the stomach "walls".

Well, I think that's one of the so many reasons it is not allowed, also all of the above reasons(at least many of them) are valid and true.

i think it might be becuase teachers are freaks.but one دن i boaght gum to school and gave some to my freinds and during a math class all the teacher could here was plp chewing. and every time she wasent looking we would make a buble then pop it witch pissed her off lol we done that for a few days and then one دن a teacher caught us when she was walking سے طرف کی the class room.

Well I thought it was because people don't put it in the bin, so it gets stuck to the floor and ruins it.

But I chew it anyway because I'm a rebel.

well in our school we are not allowed cause
1. kids throw chewing gum at teachers
2.they throw gum at other kids
3. they stick it any were
4. they usally stick it under the tables and the teachers hate it
most kids in our school chew it but the worse thing is why i hate it cause when آپ get in trouble there are a couple teachers who make آپ scrape it off yuck

Hmmm... supposedly it's unhygenic, and kids at my school will stick it anywhere. Under desks, on walls, on the floor, in my face (yes it has happened), I could go on. Heck, there are glue sticks stuck to the ceilings in the humanities block! And my cousin's friend throws her custard puddings at the ceilings in her classroom, so there are big yellow splats everywhere.

People seem to ignore that rule though, so as a punishment, آپ have to come into the classroom and clean the gum off the bottom of the tables! Thankfully, I've never misbehaved that badly.

I hate school. They've got damp problems, the kids are horrible, the punishments are ridiculous, and yet it is in the سب, سب سے اوپر 5 public schools in the UK!

I don't know. my school allows gum. We just can't leave it lying around, and i can't chew it in choir. (Obviously.)

Because people stick it to the tables and chairs. How disgusting to think, when your at school آپ could be sitting on a chair and near a میز, جدول with peoples saliva. How gross!
