Flying is cool and all that but it kind of leaves you a bit of an easy target for people with guns. While having teleporting powers you have a higher chance of avoiding stuff like that.

I would love to fly. That's for sure but Teleportation is much more practical in everyday life. No more being late on gatherings just because you are far away or being blocked by obstacles on the road or staying locked outside your house because you forgot your keys or getting caught in explosions you will not be able to avoid in time.
