I wish they played more genres and not just the mainstream pop. There is barely any other genre. It's all pop now. :(

I very rarely listen to the radio. The radio has always been heavily dominated by pop though- not necessarily anything unusual/wrong with that. Most stations will play what's most popular. But there are so many other ways to listen to music these days, what does it matter?

^ It just would be nice to discover more of a variety by radio and not just hear what already plays all the time. I think that the radio should play more genres so that you can discover more artists you like.

i don't know what radio station you're referring to but i'm guessing the popular ones? if so, popular stations should stick with pop music to entertain listeners who like pop! there's so many other stations though like kerrang. i'm not too familiar with american stations but surely there's a station for each genre, and they should stick with their specific genre so the listener can enjoy it more uvu

Definitely. I'd love to hear some symphonic metal on the radio.

It is always the same songs over and over a lot of the time I don't even like those songs so yes definitely.

I don't mind the music that we hear on the radio, but why does each radio station have to play one same song about 10 times by day?

I have given up on listening to the radio completely. I don't like most modern music and that is all they play. They refuse to play songs from even just a couple of years ago because they want to stay in style. I wish they could play some old rock songs like the Beatles or Rolling Stones or more music from that age. All they play is overrated pop songs by the same artists ten times in a row which I personally find extremely annoying.
