It's nice to take in new surroundings with a friend. You're more likely to have a real adventure like that. I've traveled alone though once. It wasn't bad and I got to be on my own relaxed schedule.

Despite being a massive introvert, when it comes to major travels I can't be completely alone with no one I know, I get too anxious.

Only if that someone is my partner. Not too keen on traveling with family. *shudders*
