God of music? I have a favorite musician too, but this is preposterous!
You people don't know what music is, obviously you need some classical music to listen to. Music isn't a good beat and some repetitive lyrics thrown in, it is art, and I'm not letting these shitty pop singers butcher it!

A composition of quality + a good instrumental + optional choir or vocals + lyrics of quality, if you have vocals

Recipe for popular music nowadays:

A good beat + hot singer + auto tune/lip sync + slutty video if female, "cute" (for teenage stars) or "cool" video if male + optional rap thrown in + lyrics about sex, dancing in clubs, "cute (boy bands and young female singers)", and sometimes "trying hard to be meaningful"
