I mean.. This is the past.. It was horrible to everyone. But maybe.. The video is titled "Happiness". There has to be a reason as to why they used these references. Maybe there's a good reason. Don't judge hardcore, just wait for the eng subs, and we'll see what happens :)

You can't just go around using references to tragedies and expect people not to get mad. People DIED!!! Both of these are tragedies to both nations don't use them to loosely. Not only is this very disrespectful but it just comes to show you how SM does not care. If they wanted to show a strong 'message' they should of used Sewol references. Then again that would probably cause a stir in Korea so they should just stick to tragedies in foreign countries.

SM got what they want, everybody watched the video looking for references.

At least SM got big attention for their new girl group, but it wasn't the best way to draw in viewers.

I don't think they were using it to try to draw attention though, I mean come on they probably know better than that, because Red Velvet is going nowhere in Japan now. It was disrespect, but we shouldn't go overboard with this.

It's a big deal because of the tension between Korea and Japan.

Both are terrible and also Japan and America suffered huge loss due to this... so, it's hard for me to choose. But for me, both are scandalous.

Maybe by making it hidden and barely seen, theyre saying that this was not happiness. Think on the bright side people.
