I really had to sit here and think about this one. I don't think he should have, but when someone is desperate enough (or just plain hard-headed enough), who's going to make them change their mind? The lesson comes afterward, and sometimes at a hefty price besides. We all make mistakes, and don't realize how much of one until later. I'm glad that I'm familiar with his work (and that it's available), but I wish the 'hellhounds' hadn't been involved.
