It is an honor, nay, a privilege to speak now of my concerns for our beloved Mr.Snape's well being. As he grew up he received quite a handful of unpleasant things, and received an unbelievable overdose of misfortune. However, just when everything seemed a-okay, his world shattered apart again at the loss of Lily Evans; both as a friend,and colleague. Many people rave about how unfair Snape's life was, ans how it wasn't what any human would've bargained for (You may recall that he once کہا "Life isn't fair"), but have the Snape ravers ever stopped to consider that there is so much about Severs that we aren't aware of? It is possible he was treated fairly well during his time as a deatheater. So pampered in fact, that it is later revealed that he is indeed very close to Voldemort, (in the words of Albus Dumbledore "...A basket which spends so much of it's time hanging on the arm of Lord Voldemort.") However, in contradiction to my theory, the dark lord did not hesitate to kill Severus without any dignity. In other thoughts I can honestly say, that, due to my personal experience in such things, Severus Snape may have been so used to the lack of fortune in his life that he knew anything he placed hope in would fall to pieces. But now we must look at the facts. Mr. Snape never allowed himself to get too close with individual people. It may have been that Snape considered himself an unlucky charm, and distanced himself from others around him to save them from the misfortune he faced in his lifetime. Self loathing is another aspect of his personality, and after reading up on Severus's personal life and experiences, it's not hard to see why. As everyone knows, Snape was a devoted deatheater, and no doubt, unknowingly sentenced his true love Lily Potter to her death, but aside from that well known fact, Severus probably sent many other countless people to their graves, a guilt that would no doubt lay heavy on one's heart, soul, and mind. Unfortunately, on the other side of the spectrum, he was so caught up in his loathing that he took it out on students, and others around him, and it would seem he almost forgot how to love all together, a tragedy in itself. It has been made quite obvious that his life was quite the emotional roller coaster that had no happy ending, another tragedy that makes this story so depressing.

Now, to begin on another note, I will now address پرستار fiction writers [such as myself.] I have noticed recently that there is a lot of "slash" going on [the pairing of two male characters together (Snape/Lucius etc.)] and while this isn't a bother to me, I can't help but wonder if this is causing a disruption of Snape's character in the minds of S.S. شائقین globally. It is not a crime to stretch his character, [as I have done many a time] but I just don't see it as necessary to break his character in half as many slashers are doing.

In conclusion, there is still a large chunk of our beloved Severus Tobias Snape that we are blind to, unaware of, and in some cases, never will be aware of. It will always be up to J.K. Rowling to decide the life's story and history of Snape, and at this point in time it is up to you, the fans, to decide what those unknown pieces of Snape are.
