Shadow's POV:
Rocha and I walked out to the yard and saw a large robot towering above us. Where was the سیکنڈ one? I wondered as I motioned for Rocha to stay behind me. I stared at the robot, scouting out where I would plant my first attack. "Dont attack until I tell آپ to okay?"
"Okay Shadow." I decided that if we could knock the robot's arms off, then it would be easier to attack. I narrowed my attack zone to the pieces that conected the long, deadly pieces of metal to it's body and began to spin-dash aiming myself straight at my target. I let myself fly آگے in my destructive stance only to fall to the ground as I hit hard metal. I quickly stood myself up and looked. The spot where I had attacked had been covered سے طرف کی some sort of shield. So the Doctor was getting smarter... The robot pointed it's gun at me and began to shoot, I easily dodged each of the dangerous bullets and shouted out to Rocha, "just dodge them!" as I continued to skip in and between them. When the bullets stopped coming I immediately stopped to catch my breath, only to see Amy and Rouge coming towards us. Rouge giggled, "looks like fun Shadow."
"Very funny Rouge..."
"Aren't I always?"
"How was shopping?"
"Ooh! we had sooooo much fun! We bought some nice lingerie..." I shook my head in disgust, "anyways, how did Faron enjoy it?"
"Faron?"
"Yea... she went with آپ didn't she?"
"No..." Great! Faron was lost and it was all my fault... I hated myself right about now... Faron was in a really bad mood and she even tried to come to me, but instead of caring for her and her needs, I was making out with Rocha. I was being a terrible father, and now I was paying for it because instead of having my mind on the fight, all I could think about was Faron... where was she? Was she safe?

Faron's POV:
I'll admit it, I felt kinda bad for lying to Shadow, but hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do right? I had come to my favourite spot on the island, the open grassy meadow where I could sit and let my thoughts run away and dance with the wind. When I heard an odd creaking noise, I slowly turned my head and let out a screech of terror as a large metal robot attempted to slash me through with it's long demonish claws. I nearly got hit as I rolled out of the way and stood up as fast as I could. Then the claws came again and again, me dodging the thrashing terrors, until the last time, when the robot decided to swipe straight down. The claws just touched me when a remarkable flash of silver lit through the air and knocked me to the ground where it was safe. I looked up to see Silver bravely puff out his chest out and glare at the robot, "you wanna piece of me?" he challenged and tried blasting it with some sort of attack which didn't work. "Silver?"
"Faron... I-I had to دکھائیں آپ how much I love you... this is how I will do it!"
"Silver wait!" I screamed, afraid of what stupid thing he might do. "Stay where آپ are... please." Silver pleaded to me. Each word tearing at my heart, worse than the demon claws. Silver walked right under the path of the robot's claws, what was he doing? Was he going to kill himself because he wanted me to love him? "Silver no! I love you! Just please don't kill yourself! I didn't mean for it to end like this!"
"Have no fear my beloved... I am not completely sacrificing myself." Silver کہا in an eerily calm voice as the claws hit him and pierced through his body, soaking his silverish فر, سمور with scarlet, blood-stains. "Silver! I sobbed as a blue light began to form around his body and the robot's claws. I noticed that his eyes were still open... yellow, burning brighter than the sun as he looked at me, "Faron, I-I love you... goodbye." Oh great, the exact words my father had کہا before he left the face of the earth, to hell یا to heaven... wherever he went. I stared at Silver, my pain stronger than ever, "I love آپ too, I am so sorry, I just wish I could go back in time!" I cried desprately as tears streamed freely from my green eyes. I watched and to my surprise, Silver didn't die... instead, he he shut his eyes tight and both him and the robot disappeared in a flash of blue light. I held my hand out, "Silver?" I croaked... he was truly... gone. I turned and flew as fast as I could back home, I would never return to the meadow... The place of my pains and sorrows. But when I got back I was almost grabbed سے طرف کی yet another tyrranical robot, "What the f***!?!" I screamed in disbelief as something dark pushed me out of the way and no مزید than 2 سیکنڈ later I heard a loud thud and turned to see Shadow laying on the ground beside me, "Da- Shadow!" I cried and quickly kneeled, resting his back on my knees and his head in my arms as he slowly opened his eyes. "Faron."

Shadow's POV:
I quickly came back to it, I'll say that robot whipped me to the ground and my wind was gone. I looked up at Faron, "You know آپ shouldn't go into the middle of a battle... I could've been seriously hurt." I scolded her, but stopped when I saw tears falling from her face, "Why him daddy?" she sobbed and I tried to lift myself up to comfort her, but I couldn't... my back was hurt, so instead I lifted my gloved hand and gently wiped the tears off her cheeks, "Why who Faron?" I asked calmly. "Sil-ver." she choked and I followed her gaze. "Rocha?" I cried out in shock as the silver-black bat spread her wings and screeched angrily at the robot, "no one messes with MY دوستوں and gets away with it!" Faron and I looked on in aw as the cuffs on her boots lifted and her rings started to turn into a really dark, dark black and her فر, سمور became a glittering whitish silvery color. Her long, black hair became longer and turned a shimmering white. Wow... this was truly amazing... it was almost like when Sonic and I took our super forms. She glared menacingly at the robot and built up a ball of some sort of energy vibes that crackled and sizzled as she raised it high in the air and flung it straight at the robot, "Hyahhhhhhh!" she cried as it hit the robot, leaving it stunned and shieldless, then she flung herself at it throwing fast, deadly kicks which soon immobalized it as she mercylessly tore it to the groung leaving shards of sharp metal lying everywhere. She turned to Faroin and I and her rings began to glow silver again. Her فر, سمور stopped shining and darkened back to it's normal silvery-black colour. "Shadow! Are آپ alright?" she asked.
"I'll be fine... what was that... what were you?"
"I-I dont know..."
"It was almost like Sonic's and my super forms... but a bat version..."
"Well then it was my super form I guess."
"That's lame."
"Aw, fine. Then, it's called my a 'starlight' form... Starlight Rocha..." she sighed in a wave of fantasy and I smiled, "well, then... let's get home, Shadow needs to lay down PROPERLY. His back was hit pretty hard."
"Yes, let's." Rocha and Faron both helped me up and gave me support as we all walked back home.

Back at home, Rocha had put me in her بستر and left to go and rest downstairs, for I had asked to have some privacy. Once she was gone and Faron was about to leave, I called her back, "Faron... I need to talk to you."
"Really, Shadow. آپ need your rest. Save it for after."
"No Faron. I need to talk to آپ now." I کہا firmly and she came to sit on the بستر beside me, "what is it?" she seemed almost curious. "Listen, I'm not gonna get all sappy and then get into the topic, I'm just gonna put it out there... staright forward. I notice that sometimes آپ call me 'dad' and then آپ catch yourself and correct yourself and say 'err Shadow' یا 'I mean Shadow' this has got to stop now!"
"But I-" Faron bowed her head, "I'm ashamed and afraid..."
"Why?" I asked, startled. "Because, I know that آپ love Rocha and if I keep calling آپ 'dad', then آپ guys aren't gonna like eachother anymore... also, I didn't think that آپ liked it that much..."
"Faron." I said, looking her intensly in the eyes, "what if I told آپ I WANT آپ to call me dad." Her face lightened and a slight smile began to spread. "You-you mean it?"
"All I can say is that I do love آپ as though آپ are my own daughter."
"Really?"
"Yes." I کہا closing my eyes and feeling her لپیٹ, لفاف کریں her arms around me. "You saved my life out there today..." she murmured. "Yes I did. I couldn't let آپ die..."
"But آپ should've... I let Silver die."
"What?" I jumped up in shock, "SILVER'S DEAD!?!?" I cried. "I dont know..." she pulled away in tears, "he didn't physically die in front of me, but he disappeared with the other robot... in a flash of blue light..."
"Blue light..." I knew that light. I had seen it a long time ago... but I dont know... I dont remember, where it happened... a gap in time and space perhaps? I tried so hard, but I couldn't remember... But it had to do with- "NO! F*** OFF EGGMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!" Faron and I both jumped as Rocha's scream sounded from downstairs, "come on!" I said, suddenly forgetting my pain and throwing the blanked from my body, flying down the steps with Faron close behind, "Rocha!" I ran to see her on the سوفی, لٹانا with her knees curled into her chest and a blue blanket pulled up to her mouth as she whimpered and I ran to tightly لپیٹ, لفاف کریں my arms around her, "Rocha, what happened?"
"Th-the d-dream..." she stuttered in fear, "it's becoming مزید and مزید intense and it's scaring me Shadow, I dont know what it means... the tears, the blood, the shadow the world about to be destroyed right infront of me using my own powers! Oh it's horrific!" she cried into my shoulder and I continued huging her, "shhhh, everythings going to be alright." I assured her and looked at Faron who seemed to know what was going on as she looked like she was not puzzled سے طرف کی Rocha's sudden outburst, but curious and thinking deeply about something... she knew about the dreams.
