Sia Matches Donations to ACLU Amid Immigration Ban 

In light of Donald Trump‘s horrifying ban against refugees and immigrants from seven primarily Muslim countries, Sia has pledged to donate up to $100,000 to the ACLU in order to help immigrants, as well as the LGBTQ community—two of the communities who are currently being threatened by new policies enforced by Trump’s administration.

On Twitter, the superstar singer-songwriter promised to match the donations of users who send her their ACLU donation receipts, up to $100,000.

Sia’s effort comes just one week following a similar donation campaign by Halsey, who matched the number of RTs her story about Planned Parenthood received with a dollar per share.

The pop star ended up donating $100,000 to the organization which supports women’s health care and reproductive rights.
