And just because a character is on the side of good and is liked by many doesn't necessarily mean they're a nice person. Sirius was very much a Black - he was devoted to those he loved, but a complete arseh*le to those he didn't weather they deserved it or not. I was also a litte hurt by the fact Sirius and James picked on him so much. I still love Sirius though!
