SISTAR sat down for a talk session with SBS radio program, \'Kim Chang Ryul\'s Old School,\' this week and revealed that most of them were, despite their extraverted images, homebodies.  

SISTAR said that they rarely got to hear their songs on broadcasts to which DJ

Kim Chang Ryul asked, "Do you not go out often?"  Soyu admitted, "I never really went around that much.  I did meet and eat with my friends outside in the past, but since last year, I think I stopped leaving my house."

Dasom stated, "It\'s been about a year since I moved out by myself.  I think I live a life of leisure only within my home," explaining that she would spend time by herself if she did not live with others.  "I like playing badminton, so I do go to the park to play badminton.  I\'m addicted," she revealed.

Hyorin added, "I don\'t think I go out often.  There\'s nothing to do outside," and Soyu said, "I have a lot I want to do, but there are a lot of things I can\'t do," grabbing attention.

It\'s hard being an idol. Like Soyu said, there are things she wants to do but can\'t do. That\'s really hard for an idol.

That makes me feel really sad for them. You think they would (should) be allowed to go out and enjoy the world rather than be left hiding at home.

Dam i do love SoYou in that sexy outfit. Just wish there was more photos of her wearing this outfit. Not sure what this had to do with the comeback though? as they are not wearing these outfits in the MV...lol

If any have boyfriends they go out with, they wouldn\'t mention it on a show. Night clubs can be trouble when you have their level of recognition and popularity. You get to many gawkers following you or people trying to get under your skin to make a scene to embarrass you or to provoke an ugly response. They have a similar situation as SNSD has. They are a bit caged by their own fame and many normal behaviors simply aren\'t enjoyable. Plus much like SNSD, Sistar members work a lot on the side and likely look forward to being able to just hang at home and rest when they can.

i think a lot of idols like to stay at home when they have free time (ofc depends on someone\'s character) since they\'re almost never home because of music shows,varieties,dramas and appearances on other events

Exactly. They often get few chances to just do nothing and relax, so when they do they probably relish being able to lounge around the house and not worry about their hair and makeup or what they are wearing.

@kentv yeah...we don\'t even know how much it effects them being in front of the cameras so much because they\'re so natural in it...so when they get the chance not to be in front of them i guess they would take it...at least i would if i were in their place

That probably was not a good translation with no context around it. She may have meant that going out in public is problematic or things she would like to do just aren\'t really possible when you have the fame she now has. Too many people recognize you or follow you to be comfortable at times I would imagine.

Fame on this level can be fun at times, but it also comes with some very sad things as well as it puts you in a bit of a prison in a sense. You can\'t do things others take for granted like just going to have a drink with some friends at a bar as someone will recognize you and suddenly you will have a mob of people gawking at you. That might be something the idol has learned to tolerate, but non-celebrity friends are likely unnerved by it, so you or they don\'t want to hang out in public anymore. It\'s why you often see celebrities build things like bowling alleys, game rooms, or movie theaters into their homes, so they can invite friends over and have some privacy.

@kentv I see. Maybe that\'s true, but what about celebrities like SNSD Tiffany? o_o It seems like she can do a lot of things & not have to worry about the mob of people lols. It seems like she doesn\'t have to worry much about that because I follow her on Instagram & I believe I see she sometimes takes pics in many different places. It seems like she goes out a lot & doesn\'t have to worry much. So .. maybe the Sistar members are just not the type to go out much? Oh, and how Soyu said she used to go out with friends but now she "stopped leaving her house" I\'m assuming that means that she actually doesn\'t go out anymore. I find that kind of weird though, I don\'t think that has anything to do with having a mob of people .. How could you not go out at all?? o_O I think that\'s just how they are.

i dont think she does either. she only goes when she has to. it was mention during their show that Bora was very careful at the things she does becuase shes always around importan ppl something like that. its why they try to do something out of the ordinary with her.

She was already known for being kind of a homebody though it was often SNSD\'s dorm she would go hang out at as she and Tiffany as well as Sunny and Hyoyeon are close.

@noradeere Sunny and Hyoyeon worked closely with Bora for over a year on IY2 back in 2011 and 2012. They introduced Bora and Tiffany as they thought they would hit it off well (Similar personalities and interests I suppose). They were right apparently. You occassionally will see Bora at some SNSD member\'s birthday parties. I know she is close to Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Sunny. I am not sure about how close she is with the other members. Also Seohyun and Soyu are pretty close as well. As a matter of fact when TTS had their show last year there was an episode where they all invited a close friend who was not in their group over. Tiffany invited Bora, Seohyun invited Soyu, and Taeyeon invited Heechul. Apparently Soyu and Seohyun met through their mutual friend Nicole (Who I\'d bet Seohyun met through Tiffany). Despite being competitors SNSD and Sistar seem to be pretty friendly with each other when you see them interact (Which isn\'t surprising with Bora and Soyu being close with SNSD members). I think both groups respect the other a lot and understand each other a lot as they are both top tier acts, are constantly busy with work outside of the group, and deal with many of the same pressures.
