Chapter 1:

Sonic's P.O.V.
At this time,I was 15 and had been in Knothole for over 5 years.I had made دوستوں during my time here but,my best friend was Katarina Valentine.She was 1 سال younger than me and we were roommates.Since she was a girl and i was a guy,our room had blue,whit,and sky blue stripes,being our پسندیدہ colors.(Since we couldn't decide on one shade of blue.)It was training day,the دن we find our true potentials.

Sonic and Katarina's room
"Kat!C'mon!We're gonna be late,"I called.
"I'm coming,I'm coming,"she کہا back.
Katarina had vermillion hair,emerald eyes,and white fur.She was the nicest girl i knew and i was the nicest guy to her when we met.Only made sense we became best friends.
We talked on ur way to the Training Room.
"Y'know,girls hate it when guys rush them,"She کہا to me.
"Hey,I can't help it if I'm impatient.I don't have time to wait because-"
"Yeah,yeah,I know.Time stops for no one,"Kat finished.
I smirked."My point exactly,"I said.Kat knew me too well.
When we got to the Training Room,only the Princess were there since there was a personal trainer for every room.
"Hello,Sonic,Hello,Katarina,"Princess Sally said.

Kat didn't say anything.Somehow,I knew that she didn't like Princess Sally.
"What's wrong?"I asked when we sat down.
"N-Nothing..."Kat said,not even looking at me.

She sighed."I don't want to talk about it.It's just that there's something about her that I just don't like,"She grumbled.

Just then,An older,yellow haired hedgehog walked in the room.
"Alright,guys.This is Zachary.He is your trainer,"The Princess introduced.

"Well,I'll leave آپ to train."Sally کہا and she left.
I heard Kat breathe a sigh of relief as she left the room.I just ignored it,not wanting to upset Kat.
"Alright,guys.Let's start off with seeing what آپ can do so I know how advanced آپ are,"He said,"You first,Sonic.Hit this dummy with your best shot."
I walked a few feet in front of the dummy and spindashed it in half.I landed and turned to Zachary.
"Not bad,not bad at all,"He said,"Your turn,Katarina."
"Actually,I'd like to take آپ on,"Kat said.
Uh Oh.
"Uh,Kat,Are آپ sure about that?"I asked.
"Yes,"She کہا fimly.
I started to wonder why i was so worried.She was already upset so that could affect her fighting.She'd fight harder.Just hopefully he wont underestimate her سے طرف کی saying...
Zachary just snickered."Alright.But I'll go easy on آپ so I won't hurt you."
Ooooh,no.That's enough to get himself killed.
Kat smirked.I could almost see the flame in her eyes.
"We'll see who will get hurt in the end,"She said.

"Haiiiiiiii ya!!"She excalimed as she spun and kicked Zachary in the gut.
Recovering quickly,he blocked most of her other kicks with his arms.

He then dismissed us.

"Well,He was the first on the ground.You still won.Congrats,Kat."I said,opening the door to our room.
